Which Console's Better to buy?

If you want to play games right NOW buy a Wii.
If you want long term buy a PS3. By that I mean in the future.

The Wii right now is doing amazingly well. Tho...I'm seeing the Wii losing sales.
PS3 has alot of games coming out in the near future.

And most probably KH3.

And really,if any one of you remember, people were saying the same things about PS1 and PS2. That they were useless ****.
But oh wait,they came up on top.( not saying PS3 is gonna be on top this time.But It will do very good).
It has only been out for like 4 month,and 1 month in europe and it already beat what 360 sold in 5month. And 360 has been out for more than a year.

 

get the wii because of all of the good games and it is alot cheaper than the ps2

like alot of people have said, it really comes down to the type of games you like. And for those who say the 360 sucks, not really i have had mine for a while and nothing bad has happened yet, no crashes, no lagging, and things like that. I take good care of it, either that or I'm just really lucky. Though, i must say if you ARE getting a 360 wait for the elite(elite is coming out this month, its black!) its gonna be so much better

 

Wii can play Star Fox. *Pokes* Oh, and anyone who guesses the character in my avvy not only wins at life, but also receives a cookie.

 

That almost makes no sense to me. That's like saying Zelda: Twilight Princess is heading to the 360.

Back to the topic on hand, I'd just go with the Wii. The handhelds are a bit too easy to lose. The 360 is pretty good but when I'm going to friend's houses and stuff it's a bit bulky to carry, and I've heard that the PS3 uses a lot of power without that much output. I can't stand by that info, it's just something I overheard from a friend at dinner once who owns one.

OMG! Nashida wins three cookies. One for recognizing Falco, one for being the first to do so, and one for labeling him as teh favorite character. For he is also mine.

 

The Wii is doing INCREDIBLY well in Japan as well as in the US. It also is going to have some great games coming out soon. (SSBB [best selling gc game sequel] and SMG) It is truly a fun and innovative system, biggest suprise of '06 E3: just how fun the Wii is.

The Xbox 360 is a purely awesome machine. It has so many great games on it currently and coming out. Mass Effect looks like it is going to be one of the best RPGs in ages and of course Halo 3 in the fall. For currently out games it has ES4 Oblivion, Gears of War, and Rainbow Six. Also look for Blue Dragon (SE made RPG)coming soon. Also MGS4 may not be so exclusive as first thought....

Now the PS3 has had an, undoubtedly, lackluster start. The ONLY game worth getting (currently) is Resistance oh, and Oblivion (which is on 360). This will most definitely change with time, however, with MGS4, Heavenly Sword, GoW3, and of course FFXIII and Versus XIII. But of course, this machine has Blu-Ray but also costs 200 more than the 360. It kinda depends on whether you think slightly better picture and these titles are worth much more.

So, in closing, I'd say that it all depends on the games you want to play.

(If final fantasy is your thing you are in luck. ALL systems are getting support from SE)

As for handhelds, DS is funner, PSP has much better graphics and costs 80 dollars more. But PSP has Crisis Core...

I own a PS3 and I love it. If you play online alot get it over the 360 so you don't have to pay lods of money. However if you really love minigames get the Wii

 

I would say that the Xbox 360 is best, just because of the selection of cool games.

 

Depends squarely on what demographic you fall under and the utils of the price tag that comes along with each console.

I've personally have purchased every Nintendo and Sony console that has ever been on the market simply because I had needs for both. My house hosts a lot of parties and to be perfectly honest, most of the time, Nintendo is the winner for most party games when all you want to do is have a lot of people participate at the same time in silly, nonsense but fun, games. These include Golden Eye 007 and Smash 64, then later to Super Smash Bros, Mario Party, Mario Tennis, Mario Strikers, etc. The PS systems have done this on occasion with their Crash Bash, Nightfire 007, etc, but not quite as prominent as the Nintendo consoles.

However, I'm also an avid RPG player and love a majestic story with high-end graphics. And with FF and KH as my all-time favourite RPG series of all time, and the fact that up until now, FF has been mainly a Sony line, the PS series has continually kept me as a consumer.

I've never owned an Xbox mostly because I've never been much of an online gamer, (only played FFXI for a year or two on the PS2 and some PC online games that weren't all that high-end), and never found an interest in Halo or Gears of War. Thus, the Xbox has been sort of neglected by me, lol.

Bottom line, it's all about what you want the experience for. Each have their appeal, but which of them do you really fall under--and perhaps you like them all.

 

If you are a massive fan of kh and want to get the system it'll be on.....I'd say ps3. But it's up to you.
