its not CGI its a mix of animatronics and a guy in a suit

which makes me happier because i was really fearing that this would be a CGI fest

 

This looks like it'll be amazing! Although I hope they found a good way to fill ninety minutes (or two hours or whatever it is). The book was pretty short, so hopefully they won't screw it up.

 

I cannot wait to see this movie. Brings back the old childhood memory. :D

I don't know, this'll either be a hit or miss.

 

I just saw it last night. Though it doesn't really follow the book's plot that much, as the boy runs away from home instead of falling asleep, it's one of the best kids movies I've ever seen, and probably one of my favorite movies of all time. It's not like other kids movies with a basically defined plot and all, and there is a lot to read into, so adults will enjoy it, too.

 

I want to see this movie SO.BAD. but it won't come out over here. The kid is extremly adorable and so are the monsters :c damn damn damn I wanna see iiiiiiiit.

Damn you America and others countries in the world who get to see it.

 

Can't wait to see it! :=D: I remember this book as a child. Movie better be DAMNED good or else they have ruined a childhood memory for many.

Not even in the fine arts? I wanna see this, how can they NOT be showing this in theaters here!?

 

Saw it on Halloween. Was pretty good, but almost nothing that I expected. Much more thought oriented than silly.

However, it reminds me that I hate people in theaters. Bunch of shitheads in the front yelling "MOVIE SUCKS!" in the opening scene and laughing their asses off at nothing. I was going to murder them, but they left before I got too annoyed.
