Where the Wild Things are

Honestly i thought this movie was going to be released YEARS AGO and finally we are the movie this fall, despite rumors of the movie being remade for some apparent reason.

now im REALLY surprised at how good the monster looks and how cute the kid is :'D

Because I am sure I remember reading this.

 

This is a classic book. It's one I read to my students all the time, when they've heard "Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile" and "Strega Nona" too many times.

It'll be interesting to see what the movie does to the storyline.

Certainly a bizarre choice for a movie adaptation. I'm curious as to how they'll stretch the story into two hours!

 

That's my concern as well. I'm not sure how well they'll deal with making a children's book into a movie.

 

INteresting... I swear I've read this book too.

Its done by WarnerBros., so it's bound to be good. I've seen the trailer for it, but I think I'll wait till its out on DVD to watch it though. The kid looks like such a munckin >:3 & the Monster reminds me of Shrek, but in a good way [lol- if there is a good way to remember Shrek]

Where The Wild Things Are was one of my favorite books as a kid, so I'll probably go see it.
The movie looks good though, so hopefully I won't be too disappointed.

well they did it with polar express and that book had less pages then Where the Wild Things Are

I literally haven't read the book in YEARS. Knowing that there's a movie coming fills me up with extreme nostalgia.

I remember reading this in my elementary summer school. xDD

I love the book, and the story was totally awesome. However, in all honesty, I do feel like that this movie will somehow mess up the story. But perhaps I shouldn't judge...but isn't that what always happens? I do hope that they keep to the story somewhat.

In regards to the CGI...GOSH, it looks awesome! :'D

 

i'm excited about this movie.i've loved reading the book when i ws little.i hope it turns out great.going to go see it opening day.
