    They're in hammerspace
I like this. I mean, Roxas and Sora supposedly share a heart, right? They share the Keyblade, too, if I remember. Even with Oblivion and Oathkeeper, I'm sure that Roxas simply stores them in Sora's heart and pulls them out when he needs to unknowingly.

But since Roxas is supposed to have a heart, this still works. He just stores the Keyblade in his own heart.

If I remember correctly, they say it was done so because the artist did not want to draw the panels with him summoning it so much. Or something.

i dunno, i think we can speculate but until Nomura actually tells us about it, it won't be for certain. I think that there may be a realm as to where they reside. much like Kingdom Hearts is the universal resting place for people's hearts, there may be a "Kingdom Hearts" of some sort for Keyblades.

As Master Xehanort said, the keyblade masters fought for the ultimate key, the X-blade. much like the X-Blade is the handiwork of many keys, So is it connected to Kingdom Hearts. The X-Blade i think summons Kingdom Hearts, however we don't know Xehanort's intentions... yet.

but if there was a place where they were at, that would make it easier to summon say, one keyblade, then another at another time. (this would also work for the Keyblade Graveyard. Once a Keyblade master losses their life, the Keyblade doesn't disappear. Ex- Master Eraquis's keyblade remained after he was slain by Xehanort. If the Keyblade was only summoned by a person's heart, (which i think is partially true, its like having a special gene.) then how would Aqua be able to wield Master Eraquis's keyblade when she was in the Realm of Darkness. and how come the key blade graveyard exists?

Answer- There is a place where keyblades exist during a dormant state, (a dimensional sheath) and once it is summoned, the user has the will to keep it, or summon it back. That is why when a master dies, the keyblade doesn't disapear, because it isn't fully intergrated into the user's heart. the Keyblade becomes an "remnant of the user." Thus the Keyblade Graveyard.

Good question. My guess is that it returns to Station of Awakening. Possibly to recharge power. Think of it as a bonfire. It holds a large amount of wood (power) but as time goes by and the fire(usage of the Keyblade's power) burns, it will eventually run out unless more wood(power) is added. Though i'm just typing my opinion out loud...

That's plausible, since the Station of Awakening is kind of a representation of the heart. But if that were the case, wouldn't we see keyblades residing around the beginning of each KH game?
