when a keyblade weilder doesn't have their keyblade summoned, where is it? is it in the station of awakening? the keyblade graveyard? does it temporarily cease to exist? or am i just over analyseing things?

I guess you could say it's in another realm till they call it? That's not really it, but if it helps just imagine it as that. In the manga the keyblade is just hung on Sora's back, but in the video game it just comes when it needs to be

Hm..I never thought about that. My assumption was that they just ceased to exist. You just kinda think it and it appears, when you don't need it, poof.

This is true in allot of video games. The weapons aren't always there and yet they poof out when you need them. Hanging Keyblades on everyone would have been difficult, so it's probably just a plot hole.

if keyblades were real I'd rather it be like in the video game where it just pops up when needed. That would be niiice *starts fantasizing*

Most likely in the wielder's Dive to the Heart.
As that is the heart's realm, and the Keyblade is connected to the heart...
    It just works.

Ahh yes, that sounds very plausible. It's either this or a loophole. (I mean really, how does he fit all his stuff in that bag?? Potions, shards, summons, he has to run outa room.)

I bet he keeps it in his pocket, carry around size. In one point of the manga, isn't he carrying it on his back or something?

But in the game, I suppose it's at the user's Station of Awakening, just kinda...lying there.

Let's not derail the topic, please.

Anyhow, I personally don't think it's in their stations. Mainly because people can share keyblades, just like how Riku could use the Kingdom Key and summon Destiny's Embrace, and how Kairi could wield it.

So we can conclude keyblades can be shared or at least summoned by anyone who can. Unfortunately we don't really have much insight on how Keyblades work, for the most part. But I think they're in some other space similar to the Stations, only that they stay there until they can be called. I really have no basis for that, though xD

As for the shoes, they're derived from the Disney cartoon look. Though, matured characters have smaller shoes compared to the younger ones. In the specific case of Sora, they just gave him the same outfit Mickey has, with some changes.

Not to mention, Kingdom Hearts I was originally planned on having Mickey Mouse being the hero but they decided to change it to Sora, incorpating elements of Mickey's clothing as the Keyblade was originally designed to be like a chainsaw-type weapon.

As for the items and such, it could be either Donald used his magic to creatre seperate pocket dimensions for different items or we all go with the natural cause of it's just there.

The Keyblade is most likely either waiting within a seperate space within Sora or within his heart since the Keyblade Graveyard is only covered with Keyblades from the war and from what I can gather, Sora, Riku's and Mickey's keyblades aren't there (Not fi you count the special preview of TVA wielding them before Xehanort)

My guess is there is a Keyblade within everyone but it requires certain conditions to be met to be summonen such as Riku used the Soul Eater and used that as a medium to create Way to the Dawn since he took the road to Dawn which was light and dark's powers mixed together while Mickey's Keyblade was in the Darkness of Kingdom Hearts but yet Mickey remains pure and innocent, meaning not all dark Keyblades are evil.

A 'Keyblade Master' is just a title, back in Birth by Sleep, you underwent a Exam of Mastery, but by Kingdom Hearts I, Sora was given the title due to there being no 'Keyblade Masters' by his age and people had most likely forgotten what the Keyblade was even though there was a tale about one saving the world while another led the worlds to ruin, how King Triton knew of the Keyhole and the Keyblade is never really cleared up

I like to believe it's within their hearts- it's kind of part of them and then they summon it only when they need it. A keyblade is either made out of light, darkness or hearts so maybe dependent on what is was created from e.g. a keyblade made from light goes to the realm of light when unused. Then again, that's just a theory, I suppose storywise, it was more dramatic having it summoned then just unsheathed.

If you absolutely need to think of it physically then I guess you could say it in the stations. As I see it, the keyblade would exist in the user's heart and the stations are the physical representation of that heart. But neither the keyblade nor the stations have a physical form when not in use.

It's not the keyblade graveyard. The keyblade graveyard is the keyblades of all the wielders that fell during the keyblade war.

    =0..I see....because I haven't play BBS so idk why there's Keyblade Graveyard @___@....
guess the only possible answer is the Station Awakening. But is Aqua, Terra, and the others that have keyblade ever go to the Station Awakening?
Because from what I ever see....Sora, Ven, Roxas visited that place because they're chosen.....and Aqua, Terra also chosen by the keyblade, right?
Well, KH has a lot of mysteries ==a

Technically, everyone has the Station of Awakening whether they visited or not. The Station of Awakening is part of your heart, so if you visit it, coolio for you. But everyone has it.

And actually, Terra and Aqua might have visited it. We just don't know because we came into their stories long after they started training.

This. Ven visited his after losing the dark part of his heart (Vanitas) but we don't know if he had ever visited it before, although he DID visit it again in his final battle against Vanitas. We don't know if Terra and Aqua ever visit theirs, or Riku for that matter... maybe you need to have a heart of ONLY light...?

Sora and Roxas had Ven's and Ven had his darkness stripped away... Does this mean Kairi will visit hers? That is a possibility.

Dive to Heart is a possibility, or maybe the Keyblade only appears when needed, and when it isn't it just isn't there, or anywhere.

I think that was the deepest thing I have ever said in my entire time on KH.

Well, in the manga Sora carries it on his back (at least I think that's the case) but in the game he summons it only when needed but it'll glow with light, just like Mickey's key. It may be in Dive to the Heart or there might be another realm just for Keyblades...? Maybe that's where TAV, Sora, Mickey, and Riku get theirs from... this is all baseless conjecture though.

Well, i believe the keyblade, when not in use, is within its wielder's heart. When Sora isn't with the Keyblade, it's inside Sora's Hearts, but we can't forget that Roxas is a Nobody, but he's directly connected with Sora's heart.
