They may or may not have the ability to change into any of the previous 34 Ranger teams during combat. By which, I mean they can. And they do. BEST SEASON SO FAR
Yes, a world where they are exactly the same thing besides a few american dubbing and whatnot. So yeah, I'll just keep calling it Power Rangers, because it's the same thing. Also, this is from someone who stopped watching around the end of Mystic Force, but what's the point of bringing back uniforms of old seasons? Is it just a way to have cameos of older seasons that people enjoyed?
But it's not the same thing. That's like saying the SAO anime and light novels are the same thing- they aren't. If it were the same thing, Super Sentai would have a stupid plot of five teenagers with attitude saving the world over and over, which it doesn't. It goes deeper. So no, it's not the same thing. And they brought them back because it was the anniversary the year it came out, so after 35 years they celebrated like this.
Ehem, SAO = SAO. One might have differences and variations, but they both have the same characters, and are the same thing. Power rangers: Has people dressed in silly costumes that fight silly enemies with explosions that almost put Micheal Bay to shame. Super Sentai: Exact same as stated in last sentence. They may have variations, but at the end of the day, they're the same thing.
Clearly you just aren't gonna listen so I'll just be on my merry way to talk to people who will, because they're genuinely not judging one show based on the other. Something you could learn to do. PS yes I understand it was a bad comparison with the SAO thing so you do have me there.
No one said I was judging the show itself, I was saying that Power Rangers and Super Sentai are the same thing, that's all. In fact, I personally liked the show when I was a kid, and while I find it cheesy and even maybe a tad bit corny, I even sometimes want to watch it myself. But either way, I find them the same thing, and I know what you're saying, but it doesn't quite work with Power Rangers and Super Sentai. Now maybe if it were a comparison between Devil May Cry and DmC: Devil May Cry, I'd agree.
the only tokusatsu that i have actually watched are the first couple episodes of kamen rider w and the first episode of gokaiger a couple months back. i kinda want to watch more w and more rider but the motivation just isnt there. rangers is watered-down sentai aiming at an ever-so-slightly younger audience, theyre both kids shows. chill
