Kingdom Hearts When do you think Kairi lost her heart?

I think she lost her heart when she was at that cave in Destiny Islands..when she fades.

 

I've never even thought of that before but yeah all you guys are right that are saying she lost it when she faded into Sora in the cave on Destiny Islands. I had to be then, because do any of you remeber acutally seeing her awake/alive throughout the rest of the game after that? She was always.."asleep"..until her heart came back to her cortousy of Sora!

 

That's actually not entirely true. You see her awake several times. So what if she disappears after five seconds and no one else sees her. lol

 

when are you talkin about? like when sora see's yuffie as her and see's fleeting images of her

those are projections of his need to see her and he heart inside of him

 

You see....I always thought that she lost her heart before Sora met up with her. Like a lot of you said, when she was in the cave and the door to Destiny Islands had opened. She had that ghost-like state about her, so I figured that was when it happened.

I've actually always wondered how it happened. Like, what went on when she went in the Secret Place. Wait....WHY did she go in the cave in the first place? Did her heart draw her there, considering she's a Princess of Heart?

 

I wonder that too. Especially when you add in the door. She had to be there before the door that stopped you from entering was summoned. That or she had a way to open it. Or the growing possibility that someone opened it for her.

 

I am pretty sure Riku opened the door since that was his big crime. Kairi may have wandered in there to see the door open since Riku did not seem to know where she was and Sora finds her later after talking to Riku. The point of opening the door was to connect the world to other worlds and Xehanort's Heartless had the Darkness forces waiting for the event, which I doubt Riku really knew of. Xehanort opened the door at Hollow Bastion/Radiant Gardens and connected his world to the others and coerced Riku to opening the door on Destiny Islands. So probably Kairi got curious and wandered in there, lost her body and her Heart waited there for Sora since she is a Princess of Heart and her Heart therefore had no Darkness and could not be consumed by the Darkness. So, her Heart went to Sora at that time. It isn't really explained very well but I'm pretty sure that's what happened.

 

Because she's dumb.

I think the question might be what happened to her body?

When she flew into Sora at the Secret Place, her body just completely vanished, unless of course she was already a ghost (that still had Kairi's Heart) If she was already a ghost, then where was her body? Had it already been sucked into the portal or taken by the Heartless? How exactly did she even become this ghost from in the first place? Did Maleficent know Sora was the Keyblade Master and take Kairi? (She somehow had Kairi's Body in order to give it to Riku and the first time you see Maleficent at the table she is watching him and she already knows Sora has the Keyblade). Ansem could have filled her in when he first saw Sora at the Secret Place while gathering things for the raft.

OK I'm totally reading into something that doesn't really matter at all, but what the hell, I'm probably wrong anyway. xD

When Kairi was a zombie and went right through Sora!!

 

yeah. she lost her heart sometime around there. and then she disappeared.

 

I think she lost her heart right before Sora got in the cave to rescue her.

 

She lost it when she entered the cave. That, I'm sure, since she dissapeared and went right through Sora.

Kairi first lost her heart that night as Destiny Islands. But since she's a Princess of heart she couldn't create a nobody due to no darkness through her heart. Namine was created during when Sora stabbed himself with "the Heart Unlocker" keyblade and thus both Roxas and Namine was born.

I think that when she fades in the beginning it isn't a ghost, or even her heart. I think it's her, she's fading into darkness but since she has no evil in her heart, she never turned into a heartless, she's just fading away, and she knows that her heart will be lost so, when Sora goes into the secret place, it's her, right before she fades away, and so she puts her heart into Sora's body so it won't fade with her body. That's how Malificent found her later, just her body in the darkness. And in the end after he learns Kairi's heart is within him, then he releases their hearts that's when Namine is born and her heart is released. She never lost her heart, she simply put it someplace else, it was her doing.

 

I agree with that, except I beleive Namine was created when her heart left her on Destiny Islands. When Sora free's their hearts, that's when Roxas and Xion were created. That's what I believe, anyway.

 

Agreed, no need to understand the full concept, and I think it was when the islands and all disappeared, that's what I think what did Kairi in.

 

Namine is Kairi's nobody and because she's not a member of Organization XIII her name isn't an anagram of Kairi with an X added that's obvious, but if she were to be a member then her name would be an anagram of Kairi with an X added. Now this is what's bothering me, um Xion is a member of Organization XIII meaning her other's name would be an anagram of Ion, not Kairi. But I'm wondering that since she does resemble Kairi, if she is a mixture, what I mean is that she could be a combination of Sora, Kairi, and Namine, or Roxas, Kairi, and Namine, or Sora and Namine, or Roxas and Namine. I say that because the I, O, and N, could come from the different names, creating Xion, and after all, she does resemble Kairi.

 

but where does she come from wen she comes flying into like a ghost?
