Kingdom Hearts When do you think Kairi lost her heart?

The title pretty much explains the point of this thread.

I think it's possible that Kairi lost her heart on her home island, Destiny Islands. Perhaps when she appeared to Sora in the Secret Place, that was what was left of her heart. I just thought about it earlier today, but I want to see what other people think. Did she lose it on Destiny Islands or after the world was destroyed? Or when the world was destroyed?

 

I thought it was when she turned into a ghost too.

 

Right when she passes through Sora in the secret place, when Destiny Island is falling into the darkness. Think it was stated somewhere.

 

Yeah, it's when they're in the Secret Place and Kairi falls towards Sora saying, "Sora..."
When she fades through him, her heart goes into his body, as awkward as that is.

Which is why only Sora could wake Kairi up at Hollow Bastion, since her heart was with him.

 

When she got sucked into that vortex of doom and totally wind swiped Sora.

 

That's when I thought she lost her heart.Right when she fades through Sora.

 

Yeah it is definately when she fades.At first,when I played the game(I was about 7) I thought she died or something.Now I feel Stupid.:P

 

I thought she was really a ghost, for real. But then you see her later, and Riku is trying to save her heart, and Sora is like all, "No dude, she's like a ghost!" And then Rikus like, "You don't have what it takes to save her!" Then Sora says, "I'll call ghost-busters!" Then Donald and Goofy come into the scene with tights on. And Riku backs away slowly...and fades into one of his Dark Portals, with Kairi in his arms. And then Sora sees some heartless version of himself and then he's like, "wtf?" and then Sora finds out that he has Kairi's heart inside him, so he's like, "Here, take your heart, one less ghost in the world!" And then when Kairi starts to get up, Sora kills himself because he's so scared.

i also think it was when kiari went through sora's body.and she faded away i was like 'oh snap,she's a spirit and she's going to take my soul,nooooooooooooooooooooo'

 

I believe she lost her heart shortly before Sora came into the cave. She must have been attacked by a heartless, lost her heart from her body, and her heart flew to Sora and caused their hearts to INFUSE!!
Probably when she lost her heart during the attack, her body stayed in Destiny Island when it got engulfed into darkness. Since she was one of those princesses blah-blah-blah, her body survived and somehow got to another world and was found by Malifecent/Riku. O.O

I think Kairi lost her heart before then actually. She appeared as a physical representation of her heart and 'vanished' on contact with Sora. If she died right then, when her heart found refuge in Sora her body would still be there and would basically tackle Sora. Since she didn't leave her body there it shows that the heart and body were allready seperate.

 

Kairi lost her Heart when the Door was opened at Destiny Islands, where it went to Sora and remained throughout the game. She however, gains Namine as a Nobody when the Dark Keyblade was used by Sora to release the Heart of Kairi and also the Princesses' Hearts which went back to their bodies. Sora's Heart was also taken at that time. This is when Roxas and Namine were created which is found in the Ansem Reports in KH2.

 

When she melted into Sora in the Secret Place...

 

She lost it after she was... absorbed into Sora. Or whatever you want to call it. <<
