For you're first AMV, I think it was well made. If you want advice on AMV's, I would suggest using a little bit of effects and always matching the beat of the song to any of the scenes that you may be using in you're AMV. Quite frankly, I don't like the song, but I still think it was a good AMV. Also making an AMV with a plot can make it way better then just using any song with random scenes. It's really up to you. I also have Windows Movie Maker. I find it difficult to make any good videos with this small basic program. There are ways around to make the video seem as if it was made on Sony Vegas.

I like how you used different clips!
    =D

For your first AMV, I think it's was pretty good. :3
You used small effects, but using different clips are my kinda thing.
As for your effects, you should just mix and match, and make the video flow well with the song. If you have that right then it doesn't really matter.
And I agree with Mike, I also have WMM, but if your good enough, you can make it look like it was made with Sony Vegas. :3

I also like the ending, how you have all the Orgy members dieing, and with the ending of the song, that flows well. <333

This is a heck of a lot better than other first AMVs that I've seen.
I don't have any new advice for you that hasn't already been said, so good work. :noworries:

Mmm... yeah, I think that the white fade in/out effect was overused too, but I didn't have much of an idea what else might work. As for the lack of plot... I was originally planning to have no plot, and after watching it to fix the ending, I came up with a really convoluted one which I immediately discarded... so, yeah. No plot. XD Mebbe I'll redo it at some point in the distant future.

Why do you have to "make it look like it was made on Sony Vegas"?
Anyway, that was a good video, for your first one. It's quite refreshing to see a mix of different scenes, rather than just an opening or ending.
For suggestions, perhaps more frequent clip-changes to match the beat, and try to give it a sense of unity.

I have a tip for you:

    http://www.windowsmoviemakers.com

That is a website with literally HUNDREDS of effects, transitions, and titles, including some that can layer clips together and do extremely limited cookie cutter effects. I edited one myself that removes subtitles (albiet its not the cleanest effect ever). It is all in their forums, and they have effects for Vista and XP. They have instructions on getting them as stickies in their forums.

Very good. Its very good for you're first AMV.I really can't think of anything to comment.Except, try to use more effects. You timed the one effect quite well but I think the AMV would have come out a whole lot better if you used more effects.I really like what you did in the end.The deaths of the Organization. And then when Sora turns into a heartless. Its very good.I love the song you used.Well done.Keep it up.

Nice job for your first AMV. All I can say is mix up the clip and use alot of different ones to make it more interesting. Try to use some different transitions. Not much more I can say seeing that you limited with WMM. Anyway pretty nice vid...!

For a first this was a quite well-done video, so kudos. I do agree however that you overused the fade out to white/black effects a bit. The clips matched the lyrics quite well at first but as the video went on they didn't as much, but hell, it's much better than most first videos, I can tell you that right now.

I agree wholeheartedly. "Make it look like it was made on Sony Vegas," to me, indicates a video overstuffed with effects and transitions to the point where it has almost no flow or sense of story at all (my sincerest apologies if this offends anyone). Regardless of whether you have extra downloaded effects, WMM is still an inferior editor to Vegas. That in no way means, of course, that you can't create a good video with Windows Movie Maker; however that DOES mean that you should NOT aspire to "the Vegas effect". Instead, use Windows Movie Maker's simplicity to your advantage and create videos with nice flow and story. I highly recommend dragging clips together to create a transitional fade (this can also be selected from the transition panel in the WMM interface) and using simplistic (but very standout) effects like Black and White/Sepia tone. I feel that videos done this way look much more professional than videos done with Vegas that use every effect in the book.

This is just my advice based on personal experience though...Uh, anyway. Wonderful work, especially for a first (much better than my first several attemps, by a long run) and I look forward to seeing your future videos ^^. As others have said, try creating more of a story with it, and download some effects; do some experimenting. If you really end up enjoying editing, I would recommend switching to a more advanced editor as well.
