    ^Thread title.

I was curious as to what my fellow KHV Members' screwed up sleeping schedules were.
I have a biphasic sleeping pattern. As in,sleep twice a day, a 90 minute nap from 8pm until 9:30pm, and 4 hours and a half of sleep from 3:30ish am until 8am which totals to 6 hours of sleep per day. It actually works.

I try to get a minimum amount of 8 hours of sleep a day. Lately though it's been just about that, because I keep waking up at 8AM, and I can't get back to sleep

I sleep as little as I can until I can't stay awake... Unhealthy as hell, but meh.

I usually go to sleep somewhere between midnight and 2 AM

On Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays I sleep until about 8 AM. Else I sleep until 2 PM. So 6 hours half the week and 12 hours the other half.

Considering I constantly alternate (except Friday to Saturday), I'm amazed my body can keep up.

I usually go to bed between 11:30PM and 1AM. However, I get random spells of insomnia where I just cannot sleep at all or extremely little.

I have a job where I am required to be awake in the mornings. Some mornings I'm awake as early as 7AM whereas other mornings I wake up about 8AM. Weekends I'm awake at 9:30, I sleep any longer than 9:30 and I feel like complete **** for the rest of the day.

I have no sleep pattern. It's much too out of control. I sleep when it happens....

This. Generally I sleep sometime between 2am and 5am, and sleep until past midday.

That or I sleep for at 6 and wake up 2 hours later. Sometimes I'll sleep early out of nowhere and wake up at 4 or 5 am.

I'm trying to ease into biphasic sleeping again. My core sleep is going to be from 2AM to 7AM and my nap is from 3PM to 4:30PM. I feel like I've had jet lag for most of the week but it is working so far. I feel much more awake in class if I have a nice nap before it. Like today, I had to skip the nap and I felt like ****.

    Approximately 4 - 5 hrs on a school night.
Approximately 9 - 10 hrs during the weekend.

I intend to shorten it to 2 hrs sometime, however hopeful a hope that is. What an overachiever, she's being. For those who have yet to see the thread, you get 1 hr 30 mins of REM sleep with your 8+ hrs spent knocked cold. And with Uberman's Schedule, you get 2 full hrs: it is requires your rewire the brain to skip the other stages, teach it otherwise. REM is vital to your living (you would die elsewise), it is what makes you feel rested in the morning and is also the stage in which you dream. It is the only stage which is necessary; the other three provide not much more than time for the body to rest/grow/heal. Or so my sources say, I can't ignore the levity behind those words... since I am under 18 and still physically developing, I think I should maybe wait. It is not exactly known if there are any long-term side-effects to such a schedule, but on a short-term level it seems quite alright.

It depends on whether or not I have school or work or a day off, and whether I want to be able to use a car that day. Generally, I don't fall asleep until about 4 am, but this week I've been a bit better, I've fallen asleep at around 2:30.
I wake between 8-10 o'clock on a week day and most Saturday's, if I have no where to be on Sunday's I can sleep all day xP Which probably doesn't help the insomnia. So if I'm unlucky I get less than four hours of sleep, on good nights almost 8. I rarely take naps during the day unless I've pulled an all nighter.

On weeknights, when I have school, I go to bed typically between 10:00PM and 12:00AM. Ideally it would be around 10:30, but my motivation to actually go to school has plummeted, so the hour at which I go to bed reflects that a bit. Any later than midnight and I'm certain I wouldn't get up. I wake up around 6:20AM nowadays.

On weekends, I can go to bed anywhere between 1:00AM and 4:00AM in the morning, and wake up around 2:00PM normally. I honestly feel best when I've gotten around 10 hours of sleep, I know that seems like a lot and I feel guilty for "wasting" such a large chunk of the day, but it really is just amazingly wonderful. I think it's partially genetics and partially that I sleep so little during the school week, normally.
I also would not recommend speaking to me at 4AM, I tend to get a bit... incoherent.

    Also, relevant:

lol. my sleep schedule is stupid. i usually go to bed around five or six in the morning. and then four days out of the week i wake up at 10:30 to raid, and stay awake until five or six again. the other three days i usually wake up anywhere from three to five in the evening. i suppose they make up for the lack of sleep i usually get.

Jeez what is with you people staying up so late. What could be so important to do at 3 AM in the morning?
I usually sleep around 10-11PM everyday, sometimes if I'm caught up in something it'll be around 12 AM though.
Then again, it might just be my body's automated clock.
I usually wake up around 6 or 7 AM in the morning, I like getting at least 7 hours in.
Sometimes I do need an hour long nap though. Usually during a busier-than-usual day.
And I'm not so pleasant when I don't get at least 5 hours...
