Birth by Sleep What's Your Plan of Action?

Been waiting to make this thread.

Alright, so BBS is coming out in less than a week. Many KH fans (including me) have been anxiously waiting for this promising addition to the series for more than two years now. Now that it's coming out in Japan, I think quite a few of us would like to stay spoiler-free until its debut in English. Personally, I tend to spoil myself on the new KH games against my own will. I notably failed with 358/2 Days when I vowed only to look at the opening cutscene plus a few gameplay clips and ended up seeing

in the related videos tab on YouTube. Not that I watched it, but still...

Anyway, I plan to steer clear from KH forums and KH-related stuff on YouTube this time so I can enjoy BBS to the fullest when it comes out. My question is, what's your plan of action?

I'm not going to watch any cutscenes at all, maybe just read a few spoilers(about who Ven is) and that's it (:

 

im gonna be doing a video playthrough of the game,once its out.gonna go all the way and stop the ones im currently doing just so i can finish this one lol.

 

Going to try to stay spoiler free. Even small spoilers will add up, and start to connect until you learn a much bigger spoiler or a small part of the story.

I gotta say that this new game is very exciting but I don't find myself temped at all. o.o

 

I want to stay spoiler free, but that is not possible as I update the main page.
So, when I have to update the website, it's only a matter of spoiling myself.
What I usually do is, I update the page and check the first few minutes of the clip depending how long it is.

Lastly, we are dubbing the cutscenes too for Birth by Sleep.
Not all of them, but some. So, looks like I will be spoiled, but it's all good.

I plan to stay spolier-free, even though i've already figured out half of the game, I SHANT (lol, shant) LEARN ANYMORE ABOUT IT UNTIL I HAS THE MOENY FOR THE GAME!!!!

 

I'll probably end up reading something about the game that will spoil it but I don't really care.

 

I hear ya, I mean we've been waiting for along time already, what KH fan would wait with so many questions waiting to be answered.

 

Since I do't have a PSP and won't be able to actually play the game, I'm going to read spoilers and watch walkthroughs.

 

I'll probably watch all the cutscenes and such, I don't have PSP(and am not getting one any time soon) so I don't have to worry about spoling myself.

 

I'm just going to watch some gameplay on it. Maybe the final boss, not sure on that one yet. Seeing as how my PSP got soda spilled on it this past weekend, I'm not going to import it because I won't have a way to play it for the time being. I'll just wait for the U.S. release :).

 

yeah this. I've actually waited like 5 years for this game (since the kh2 secret ending). No way im ruining it for myself without playing it.

I once was seconds away from spoiling Days before I caught myself and stopped. I don't intend to get that close again. Under the bed I go!

 

I'm just gonna simply stay off of youtube videos dealing with Kingdom Hearts content and lay off of any Kingdom Hearts websites (except for maybe this site). I absolutely hate spoilers, there is no fun in playing through a game where I already know what's gonna happen (well except for anime based video games such as Dragonball Z but that's a story for another topic ^^). Well sure when it comes to video games the most important thing that should matter is gameplay but the Kingdom Hearts franchise has probably the greatest story I have ever seen put into a video game. Personally I would rather let the game's story push me to complete each object, slay every enemy, and defeat each and every boss in order to see what will happen next in the game. I would rather wait a few months and have fun playing through the game speculating and eventually discovering Terra, Ven, and Aqua's fate rather than in four days, watching the game's cutscenes and witnessing Terra, Ven, and Aqua's fate within 30 minutes in front of my computer monitor. Then once the Game finally comes to America, Europe, Austrailia, (or whatever region you may live in), Birth by Sleep just won't feel as magical anymore compared to the days when we were guessing what will happen within this game. For me half the fun of the game is foreshadowing what will happen in the game and how it will play. Though until Birth by Sleep finally does come to America I'll look at this video every once in awhile in order to keep my anticipation up for the game (despite the fact that I said I would stay off of KH material on YouTube), but of course pay absolutely no attention to comments or related videos whatsoever.

The KH fan that would like to have fresh and fun feel to the story when they actually buy the game and play it. Like Radiowave said, considering the KH2 Secret ending, we've been waiting nearly 5 years, surely waiting a couple more months can't be that difficult ;). Well anyway, I'm done with my little rant now. Sorry if I sounded pushy or anything, I just wanted to give out my opinion on spoilers.

 

Possibly pirate the Japanese version and buy the English version when it comes out.

Nah. I'll just stop caring about BBS until the English release comes around. It's worked so far.

 

I'm planning to stay spoiler free (for once in my life). I've spoiled so many games I've played and it really cheeses me off when I spoil it for myself. So I'm gonna stay spoiler free until the BBS comes out
