    Oh lordi where to start....

If I am to pinpoint something that inspirers me or makes me want to draw, it's something that would result in fanart. Like a completly new game I have just started playing on, or a game that has been covered in dust for 2-3 years that I've started playing around with again.. A book that drags me into the story will also make me want to scribble down the scenes asap. (Harry Potter anyone?) I think that the reason may be... that I receive this feeling or emotion inside when I play/read something, though most of the time I end up not drawing anything at all even if I want to. If I see something that is new to me it's bound to make me want to try out the same technique. (like tutorials or manga)

    Also..

Music. Highly inspireing to me. But not anything with lyrics in them, they just don't have that same effect. I'm thinking about the melodies themselves, those are the ones that triggers the artistic feeling in me. Belive me, whenever I'm told to make an illustration based upon lyrics or a text it just becomes so closed and... urgh. Braindamaged. >> I don't feel free at all. But when I hear a tune of only instruments... Who knows what it brings forth? It's like, multible things at once. Most of all the music from a game or movie is my best kind of music, since the point of them is already there - creating an emotion to the story, but also to whoever hears it. Could be dramatic, nostalgic, spiritual, or just plain happy. Endless options right there.

And sometimes even simpler things can give me potential illustrations inside my head. An example, there's a candle lit on the table and you blow it out. The smoke rising from it gives this magical feel to it, it makes me want to draw a female spirit or magic spells or something. Or when you pour milk into coffee and stirr it with a spoon, you can see just about anything in there.. If there happens to be a pen and paper around I sometimes end up scribbling what I see.

My inspiration can come from anything. Music, family and my friends are the bigest ones tough. However books, movies, TV shows, games, etc help also. Just about anything and everything really

What inspires me is my ever growing imagination and what ever seems to be on tv at the time (i know sounds weird but it works for me) XD

Call me crazy, but I've had several dreams that have inspired me to write something.

I'm inspired by a lot of things. Music, art, random conversations with my friends, RPGs I'm in, dreams I've had. Sometimes I just get a random plotbunny when I'm watching TV, like a commercial will trigger something.

I'm not really sure.I guess I'd have to say music.A lot of the times when I'm listening to music,an idea for a story pops into my head.I thin about it for a while, think about the characters and other things. For me music just inspired into writing.

Historical legends. I love to draw people from history who have shaped the world.

While for writing poems I usually get that from my emotions and mini stories I can think of in my head.
