What's your inspiration?

I thought I'd ask the people who've written anything (stories, poems, etc.) what inspired them to write their work. Was it a specific song? Someone else's story? Anything?

 

I get my inspiration from personal feelings. I like to associate my life to art so that I can express myself and show it to others.

 

well, im started to write lyrics, but i would have to say

that sometimes , the inspiration comes from, perhaps a wish

or a feeling, or sometimes, i see it in others , even though they dont notice it, their personality or ways can inspire

 

nature, what ever is happening in my life, random objects, sounds, movies... basically anything...

A lot of my inspiration when I write comes from my own thoughts and feelings, that... and dreams. My dreams inspire my creativity a huge amount.​

 

Hmm...well, this is interesting...

I always got my best stories from listening to music, especially two or three at once. You'd be surprised what could come at you if you mix it up like that, especially from different genres.

 

we'll for the poems i write, i base it on what i'm feeling at the moment.

for my kingdom hearts fan fic, i base it off what i believe would be their future (like imaginary people have futures. lol!)

 

Actually that is very true. A lot of inspiration can come from the right piece of music.

Often I hear a song and can imagine a whole scene for it o.0 ​

 

Funny,I also get my inspiration from my current feelings and such.

But most of the time is music c: When I listen to a song,the deepest lyric in the song is what inspires me in drawing anything that comes in mind.

 

Oh yeah. I think we can all relate to that one. lol

Yeah, it's especially good if you can picture a different one each time you hear the same song, isn't it? I love those kinds of songs.

girls, 100%. i'm one of the most romantic guys around this area i know of.
specific songs? anything that is romantical, like some jack johnson, cute is what we aim for, tsa, or anyone that has a good sound.

 

I dont really write or anything but I draw, if that counts ._.

I get inspired by songs, personal feelings, and sometimes people. Mostly songs though.

 

Mine is just, well, what I'm feeling at the moment. My writing reflects my emotions more than anything else.

My inspiration sparked simultaneously when I used to watch the simple CGI series of Gundam that was on Cartoon Network for a short time. The plot line was relatively simple, but interesting nonetheless.
Plus, I was about eight at the time. So, I made primitive adaptations of the story from thereforth and on.
Soon after, I actually started to progress onto further deep into stories of anime, and I understanded them clearly. Even at the age of ten.
That's when I seriously started to write stories such as AniPlay. And that story was actually very serious.

Then, when it came to songs, only one thing inspired me the most to write songs:
Paramore.

My inspiration mostly comes from songs, and wonderful little pictures. Certain songs and pictures just have something in them. Just one look or a single note or beat, it makes my brain to start ticking. Awesomness.

 

Well I’m creating my own RPG, while not technically a story it involves a lot of creative writing when writing dialogue for characters etc. My biggest inspiration are family and friends, there's no one else I can admire more then them, which is why my characters are based upon these people that I know.

 

Boredom. ADHD. Having no time to do anything else. And also trying to prove to myself that I can finish a story. So far that hasn't happened. I always am so hyped up in what I am doing, so I take a break. Then I get hyped up into something else and it starts all over again.

Well, the stories i write aren't anythin' special, but i get my inspiration from just talkin' to the folk involved.

Like last night. Coco was just bombardin' me with random thin's which i could easily use. The idea's she gives me makes me wanna continue my story. It's amazin' like that.

So, my inspiration is people.

 

When it comes to writing fanfics and stuff, it's my imagination and creativity that inspire me to write. With everything else, it's a desire to become better at something (like piano and singing and stuff like that).
