Whats up with Tobi from Akatsuki?

If Madara is able to view though the Kyuubi's eyes while it's under his control, He could have aquired Minato's time space jutsu.

 

Or he could have just learned it while facing off with Minato himself. But I'm sure he could have learned it from the Kyuubi control just as well.

 

And yet Tobi couldn't avoid being choked out by an armless Diedara. xD


But really. It can be expected that he will soon reveal the rest of his plan soon.

 

Or maybe he didn't want the other Akatsuki members to know how strong he was just yet. Plus its funny that he got choked out by an unarmed man.

 

Ah ha.....i thought you'd say that so i'd like to point out something.In the battle of lee vs gaara, lee uses extreme taijutsu and according to kakashi sasuke said he copied it but as everyone recalls sasuke was in the hospital due to over exursion of his abilities and the curse seal, how could he?
thats just the thing you sasuke couldn't unless you don't necissarily need to see the ability, so how is it impossible for obito to not use the ability after seeing his sensei do it hours before with an enemy?

Sasuke fought Lee before Lee fought Gaara. Sasuke fought him before the Chunin Exams started but they were interrupted by Might Guy

I'm not sure if the way Mangekyou is predetermined by the eyeball. I think it's the user. YOu know what I mean? Even if Tobi is Obito and he has the other eye, it might be two different Mangekyous because it's two different users and give them two different abilities even if it's the same pair of eyes. But that's just a guess

 

Sasuke used his sharingan on Rock just prior to the chunin exam application deadline. Midway through the fight he uses his sharingan, though he is not able to keep up with Lee's speed.

 

Yeah, he was able to completely copy Lee's techniques but his body wasn't trained to the extent Lee's was so it put a greater strain on him.

How did sasuke copy the weights off lee when he wasn't there.I understand that he copied weights on lee because we see it in his first chunin fight but how did he copy weights off lee?

Well you have a point there.Well think of it this way.If tobi is Obito and both sharingan are connected, maybe that's why kakashi got his mangakyou.If this is true it might be how tobi can remove parts of his body, using kamui.

 

The only difference is speed. It's the same techniques but Lee can move a lot faster without the weights and maybe use some extra techniques that require that amount of speed.

That's what I was getting at, I'm glad you got my point. It can be the same basic ability but with slight variations because it's different eyes and different users. Remember Itachi's left eye had Amaretsu and his right eye had Tsukiyomi (yea I definitely spelled those wrong and they might be the other way around) So it's possible for Obito's Mangekyo to do the same thing and even Sasuke's. Even though I keep bring evidence for Obito=Tobi, I still don't believe it lol

How do you think Kakashi awakened his Mangekyou?

 

I think that, when tobito finally unlocked a mangakyou which would prove him as madara, kakashi unlocked it aswell.They both unlocked the ability of kamui except tobito, as a true sharingan user was able to refine it but kakashi couldn't control it properly.

 

Um... Kakashi unlocked his Mangekyo on his own. He even comments, "I've been working on this the last few days." just prior to unlocking it.

He also told Naruto that he had a long range move which gave him an edge over Deidara, something Naruto lacked.

Kakashi seemed to know that his chakra combined with his Mangeko would allow him to use that technique, prior to actually unlocking it.

Its not like, "Oh, hey! Obito unlocked his mangekyo, so now I have new powers." its more like, "Hey, I've been working really hard for this move, I'm going to debut it now, because we need it."

 

Yeah, but the question is: How did he work on it? To get a Mangekyou you supposedly need to take the life of your best friend. But I believe this to be false.
Itachi did take his best friend's life. Sasuke got his mangekyou after Itachi died because he found out the truth about Itachi, making him his closest friend (which was a really corny thing to do). But It never stated who Madara or his brother killed. Kakashi himself had said that everyone close to him was dead. I think there's something else to the mangekyou

 

From my understanding... to unlock the Mangekyo, you don't need to kill your best friend. You need to witness your best friend die. If this is true, you answered your own arguement.

Its just that the only way for -YOU- to unlock your Mangekyo, you need to kill them yourself.

 

I have a theory that might make sense. In kakashi Gaiden, Obito disagrees with not saving Rin. This leads to the two splitting up. Kakashi later has a change of heart and decides to go help. Kakashi later gets his eye damaged, gets Obito's eye, leaves Obito behind, feels responsible for killing Obito, and unknowingly unlocks the mangekyo at that time.

Later, after seeing Itachi use his he becomes aware of the advanced Sharingan, and either trains hard to wield it or asks Sasuke about it.
