What's the point of putting "Major Spoilers" on a thread?

If you post it in a section like Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep, you'd have to assume it'd have spoilers if common sense prevails. For the people who don't look before they leave, they deserve to get spoiled information. What is the whole point?

And I dunno, I think if spoilers are allowed in a subfourm then there is no need to put that in the title. Still, some people just want to make extra sure. Honestly, there really isnt a problem with it IMHO :]

 

They just want to get attention. If they add the word "spoilers" someone might think there's something interesting in the thread. But, i think it's stupid because Xaldin posts all the news here which contains spoilers so i don't know how they know something different from the "official" news.

 

Probebly to just get people to take a quick glance at it. =/ Excite them......
