My friends and I got into an interesting disscussion about this at lunch, and while it ended rather awkwardly, it made me realize how much I hate being older and having to go to school/do homework every waking moment.
I remember watching Toonami on Cartoon Network, when it was on from 4-7 PM every weekday.
This was also way before CN went stupid. So, in no particular order, this is what I remember watching:

Beast Wars (until it became Beast Machines)
    KABLAM!
    Angry Beavers
    Tenchi Muyo
    Sailor Moon
    Powerpuff Girls
    Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
    Spongebob
    Cubix
    Zoids: Chaotic Century
Scooby Doo: Where Where Are You?
    A Pup Named Scooby Doo
    Jakie Chan Adventures
    Pokemon

Some of that is fairly recent...but probably doesn't go too far past 2000.
And yes, I've been watching anime for a long time. xD

As I said, some of these are still fairly recent. I used to love Spongebob and used to build Zoids while watching it.
But now, the episodes are just...AGH.
Try to stay on topic here...

After reading all that, I remember a bunch...
Mish's taste in TV shows reflects my own. xD

I remember staying up till 11 just to watch Gargoyles. What else...
    Tail Spin
    Voltron
ReBoot (Why did I get up at 6 AM as a kid? ;_; )
    Johnny Bravo
Various editions of The Justice League
    Dexter's Lab
    Chip & Dale: Rescue Rangers
Jumanji (it was an animated series for some time. Then it disappeared. 8D)
    Rugrats

    Ducktales
Blue Sub #6 (OVA aired on Toonami)

I'm convinced that I never got a life/will get one. And there's probably a lot that I've failed to remember. Again. Dx

Maybe is cause I've grown up or something, but I still watch cartoons now and then, but they are never what I expect. I miss the old days (not that I wasn't that old)

The Magician...didn't that have something to do with a crime fighting magician?

BTW, who all remembers Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego the GAME SHOW?

Yeah. It was about this magician, Ace Cooper who was not only a stage magician, he was a crime fighter as well. Although his stage tricks could be duplicated if someone found out how to do it, he had the special ability to summon REAL magic to thwart foes. It went for 2 seasons before it got cancelled unexpectedly. To this day, no one's uploaded any clip of it and Retrojunk doesn't have it in its database, causing it to drift away into the sands of forgotten history.

And Carmen Sandiego was on PBS until they decided to change it to Where in Time (which kinda sucked to be honest.)
