Sex is acceptable within marriage. Unless this is so it is fornication and this is a cardinal sin. It doesn't matter how you sell it, it corrupts

There's nothing wrong...but it becomes wrong because of the society, the church, etc. The prostitutes are just selling their bodies they can do w/e they want with them, so the society is what makes it wrong.

But if a person doesn't believe in the concept of sin, they aren't going to care, are they?

Prove it without using biblical references. No government agency can make any laws based on religion (Seperation of church and state. Thankfully), so prove it WITHOUT religion.

As does money and power. Look what two things religion has a lot of. Hmmmm........

Sex is sex. It makes babies when we want it to (unless you fail at contraception or are extremely unlucky) and is fun otherwise. Calling it a "cardinal sin" without giving reasons why other than "god/the Bible says so" is not an argument.

There's nothing wrong with it, it's that people look down upon it. If a person wants to sell their body like that, it's their choice and really their opinion.

Okay, sure, you know more about morals.

There is no "threat" here, I was calling on something that appeared like a problem. Thanks for patronizing me, captain jack. For someone who apparently "knows much more about morals than anyone else here and especially me," you seem to like to treat people badly in response to a false perception of what I was getting across.

Let's just forget about it. I'm not mad, and I'm telling you that, alright?

The reason I told you morals was an empty distinction, also, was because it truly is. If you have a perception of what is right and wrong, there is no room for perceptual critical thinking. And you really must have morals if you're so dogmatic about it. Prostitution is only granted a moral opinion because you're told that is how it is and that's how you decided to structure your "morals" of it. It was behavioral and cognitive impulse.

If the women do what they want with their bodies, why should it be any concern to us? It's their life, and their bodies. I don't think they will go to Hell for it, because it may be what they had to do to survive. If they were forced into it against their will, that is a different matter. Sometimes they get hooked on drugs, and this is the only way to get more. Whatever the case, unless they are forced into it against their will, I don't see how it would concern anyone else.

I see no problem with it. They have a choice to do what they do, its their body so let them be. with the risk of STD im sure that the prostitute would be aware of the risks involved in selling their body. As the fact of it being illigal, people still do it anyway.

there is nothing wrong with it, it's just risky. STD's and Pregnancies will be higher all because they need money =/

however in the end if the women wants to do it then it's their choice.

If it's legal, it will (theoretically) be more regulated, including STD testing, birth control, regular wages, etc etc.
