A brand new IP that looks radically different from just about every other big-name title in the past few years.

But to honest, while I made a bigger response to the announcement of Final Fantasy VII Remake and seeing more of Kingdom Hearts III finally, and of course await Fallout 4, Horizon: Zero Dawn actually presented a sizable amount of unedited gameplay, and involves a red-head girl slaying robot dinosaurs, all while being a new story.

The only other game named on the list in this thread that is also brand new is The Last Guardian, which I also really want to play.

    Yo momma. OOOOHHHH SICK BURN.

    I was just curious.

I was considering adding more original games to this list...but to be honest it's pretty silly to believe they'd deserve spots over something like KH3 or the FFVII remake. KH3 was honestly one of the best looking things I've ever seen. Dem huge worlds. Dat twisted grass.

Sure, the game is absolutely gorgeous to look at, but I disliked how much of the gameplay was just Sora using special attacks instead of actual combat. It's something I disliked about Kingdom Hearts II's combat in comparison to the first game's, as it constantly breaks the flow that I like in action games.

Final Fantasy VII Remake is amazing news, but there was zero gameplay. A non-gameplay trailer is not winning E3 for me.

The games I'll play are Final Fantasy, Kingdom Hearts, and Mirror's Edge, but if you ask me what the biggest thing was, was Final Fantasy VII. I'm pretty sure no one saw that coming, except for those who claim every year something for Final Fantasy will come out

The nerd in me is ashamed that I have no idea what Shenmue is. But based on the response the third is getting I think I might need to find and play the first two.

Well lucky the Dreamcast looks to be a pretty easy emulation (even has emulators on Android). But the same can't be said of Xbox, so seems like I'll be looking for a European version of Shenmue 2 if I get that far.

To specify: for me, the biggest announcement was, without a doubt, Final Fantasy VII Remake, the game I'm currently most hyped for because of this E3 is definitely Horizon: Zero Dawn.

Choosing multiple because I like different things about each & because of who I am as a person:

    SEQUELS/REMAKES
    • Kingdom Hearts 3: IT LOOKS SO FUN. Part of me is worried the flashy stuff will be OP ala KH3D or Birth by Sleep, but with the AI reconfiguring they've mentioned, I'm hopeful that the enemies will still be tough even with those. (Also, I doubt that the Keyblade Transformations/Attraction Flow aren't working on some kind of gauge). There's also the obvious attachment to it. :b
    • Dishonored 2: I have not played the first one, buuuuuut Emily looks cool and her powers seem rad.
    • Fallout 4: I've never played any of the previous Fallouts, but this one definitely caught my eye. Easily what made the Bethesda conference rank as high as it did for me.

    NEW IPS
    • Horizon Z/D: I love everything about it from the gameplay and art and stuff we've seen, but I guess the only thing about it bothering me is that she's white, lol. :v It's just that with the ~tribal aesthetic~ they have going on and the dreadlocks, it just seems like she should be someone of Native American descent imo. Maybe she is and we just haven't heard it yet. I'm also kind of worried that one of the other tribes that could turn out to be the "evil" tribe is actually gonna be noticeably Native American, which...yeah. >_> Still like it a lot, though!
    • Unravel: that man was adorable and this game seems adorable and the character has their own Instragram. i'll fight someone on this.
    • Recore: I wish it wasn't an X1 exclusive because it looks so neat. Hoping that it does well!

I kind of expected KH3 to make some appearance, so it didn't give me that incredible "wow" factor that the announcement trailer gave me two years ago. But still pretty exciting stuff.

Horizon: Zero Dawn was also pretty close but the first time I've really been exposed to it was when it was shown at the Sony conference, so I'm still looking into it and deciding whether or not I want to continue following its development.

But even if there was no gameplay and it was merely an announcement trailer, FFVII Remake takes cake. I told myself I wouldn't be surprised whether or not they would but well, it did and for that, it got to me in a special place.

The Last Guardian was very, very close, but kind of like KH3, there was an expectation that it was going to resurface. Amazing visuals and gameplay shown, there just may have not been enough to top the sheer impact FFVII Remake's trailer had.

For me it's a tie between KH3 and Final Fantasy VII Remake, but I'll have to pick KH3 as I actually haven't had the chance to play the original Final Fantasy VII ( although I hear it's a really good game)

Not one that I would have voted for for even if it was on the poll, but I'm very interested in World of Final Fantasy as well.
