What were your childhood games?

What games 'defined' you childhood? Not exactly the best choice of words but what I meant was, what games did you really enjoy as a child and you still enjoy them today?

For me it was Donkey Kong 64, Pokemon Stadium and Final Fantasy IX.

 

My first thee games as a child were: Croc, Legend of the Gobbos; Crash Bandicoot 3 (which I have STILL never completed); and Pokémon 1st Gen.

 

Sonic the Hedgehog 1 and 2, Super Mario 64, and the original Super Smash Bros. Ahh, the memories.

 

I remember renting Croc from the video store when I was younger. I never got to finish it and my mum could never afford to buy me my own copy. Such a shame. ):

I almost forgot about Crash Bandicoot. My mother played it most of the time though. lol

 

Croc was an amazing game.

My childhood favorites were Mario Kart 64, Pokemon Blue and Super Mario World.

Also, to this day, Goldeneye 64 is the greatest multiplayer game ever.

 

Sonic for the mega drive, Final Fantasy, Legend of Zelda, Mario and Secret of Mana. All of which I still love today. <3

 

I grew up with Mario, Mortal Kombat and Resident Evil.

Mario and Mortal Kombat are my life. <3

I never really played Resident Evil though. I only watched other people play cause it scared me so much. It still does to this day XD

 

Original nintendo was my first system, but it broke(no idea why...) then I got Playstation 1, loved that thing and still have it. First games were Mario, Sonic, Croc, and Frogger.
Also played Zelda and pokemon stadium on my aunt's 64 whenever I went to her house.(I swear I get my video game genes from her)

 

Crash Bandicoot 3, Spyro the Dragon, and the PSX Spider-Man game.

 

The Crash Bandicoot series - I think I've played and beaten every one from the PS1 generation
Pokemon Blue - My first Pokemon game and I loved it oh so much :3
Legend of Zelda OOT - My first Zelda game and while I couldn't beat it when it first came out, I loved it when I played it a few years later.

 

Boardgames (Kimble, African Star...)
Didn't get into video games till I was a teenager <.<

 

Pokemon Red- First Gameboy Color game I got
Legend of Zelda OOT- I could never beat it though
Pokemon Stadium-loved it
Crash Bandicoot
Final Fantasy VIII
The Legend of Dragoon-Great game, and still is, while it is for PS1. My top voted game

 

The first ever gaming system i got was a dreamcast. i can still remember that feeling when i opened the box on a snowing christmas day. I think i was about 7 or 8 years old. (i still have it btw)

I didn't buy many games but my favourites were -

- Sonic Adventure 1
- Lets get read to rumble
- Fur Fighters
- Crazy Taxi
- & my EPIC DEMO DISK which i use to play for hours on end!

 

Pokemon Gold, Tetris, and A Link To The Past.

I had a GBC and an SNES.

 

Pokemon Red and Blue!
Got them second hand off my older sister,and used to play them for hours.
Also that really old Mario for the GBA...loved it :3

Mine were pokemon red version, LoZ Ocarina of Time, and Sonic Adventure 2 Battle. They were great games, I miss playing them... If only my N64 still worked 8'D

 

Super Smash Bros, Pokemon Stadium 1 and 2, Donkey Kong 64, Wave Race, and Dr. Mario ( my dad still kicks my ass at this D: ) for my N64, and Pokemon Gold for my GBC.

Although, my granparents had a Sega Genesis, so I also played Sonic 1, 2, and 3, and Toejam & Earl (if*ckinglovethisgame).

 

Because only a few people have great tastes in gaming. xD


Pokemon Blue and Red as well. I was so happy when I caught all 150 Pokemon. :'D
