Birth by Sleep -What were they up to-

I know I'm not the only one thinking about this but why was lea & Isa in a hurry to get to the castle? and all we see is them being kicked out by Dilan. My guess is that they wanted to know what sorta things were happening inside since it's always guarded.

But what do you think?

In the secret reports Axels says that all the founding members of the organisation, for some reason, volunteered into becoming nobodies. He also says that him and Saix had a plan of their own.

 

That doesn't really answer the question it just gives another one... What was their plan?

If KH3D really takes place between BBS and KH1 maybe we' ll find out what they were up to.

 

If their goal was to beat the crap out of Terranort they would have done so BEFORE he turns himself into a nobody. Saix was Xemnas doggie, he seemed more obsessed about Kingdom Hearts than anything else. I don' t know what their ultimate goal was but I doubt it was something as simple as that. Tearing the organization apart seemed to be a mean, not an end.

 

They didn't wanna kill Terranort. If anything they wanted to boss him around. Hence their mission to take over the Organization. Though now I wanna know how they found out about the whole 'Nobody' scheme and how they became Nobodies in the first place...

 

I went and read the secret reports again.

Xaldin says that they all became nobodies in order "to avoid the shackles of emotion" but that it somehow backfired on them since some things just cannot be done when you' re deprived of emotions.

Saix also says :
"Our plans never accounted for the possibility of both Xion and Roxas leaving.
How did this come to pass? When did Roxas grow strong enough to outmuscle me?
What were you really after, Lea? We joined the Organization at the same time,
and formulated our plan. At this point, it's just and idle fantasy. Everything
changed. You, and me."
Saix didn' t need Roxas to search Castle Oblivion, he needed him to build Kingdom Hearts.
I found nothing about Saix searching something in Castle Oblivon. Was that suggested in-game ?

 

So, the question... remains completely unanswered because people didn't read it correctly.

Why did Lea and Isa want to enter the castle during the events of Birth by Sleep?

My theory? They're kids; they probably just wanted to break in for the hell of it. I mean, it is a castle, and its security presents a challenge. Lea seems like the type to face challenges just 'cause they're there.

 

If you just wanna stick to what they were doing in BBS I' d say they wanted to apply for some kind of job. When Lea starts to talk with Ven Isa tells him that they don' t have time for this, which would suggest some kind of appointment. If all the founding members of the organization volunteered into becoming nobodies that means they were all involved in Terranort/Ansem experiments before that.
Lea' s in-game report mentions that he and Isa have bigger plans. I wouldn' t describe infiltrating the castle as a prank being a "bigger plan".

 

Of course, it is a pretty big and pretty important castle.

Isa saying 'we don't have time for this' could mean something like, they only had a small window of opportunity to get in and out... which they missed. Gloriously.

I think the words "bigger plan" are a hint that they allready had something in mind, something linked to their later scheme inside the organization. I can' t prove you wrong though, even if I highly doubt that Dylan and Aeleus would leave their post for anything other than unversed. As you said it IS an important castle.

 

Yes, it was. Saix asks Axel to look for the secret room Xemnas is trying to find. As for their motives for trying to get there before Xemnas...who knows. It's never explained why Saix wants to be better than Xemnas.

The reason for wanting to enter the castle...I can't think of anything. It's probably because they'd wanted to go higher in the food chain, or something similar.

 

When I first played BBS and saw this scene I thought they were just curious about the castle; and wanting to participate into giving their hearts up to become stonger or becoming guards.....but that's just me for not reading the secret reports. :/

 

Well, we are talking about Isa and Lea, and they are not serious. Maybe the just tried something stupid and it turned against them. (They were discovered by some of the guards or something...) And Isa's eye change is also because of that.... At least, that's what I was thinkin...

 

and this room might be the room ventus is sleeping in?.
i mean it is in castle oblivion, but they obviesly didnt find him.

 

Yes, that's correct. Ventus is sleeping in that room. Xemnas wanted to find it. And I guess that Saix was curious as to the contents of the room. Perhaps he infers that it's something with great power.
