What was your first anime?

The first anime i watched is SAINT SEIYA~~!!!

 

It was either
Pokemon
Speed Racer
Ronin Warriors
or Sailor Moon

 

Hm... I watched a couple episodes of Pokemon to begin with. But I never really kept up with it. The first that I saw through was Angelic Layer.

 

I grew up with Pokemon and Sonic =3

 

my first anime was DBZ but i was small and had no clue it was an anime ^_^

 

Dragon Ball Z. xD I know, weird right?

 

Everyone grew up with Pokémon, Digimon, Sailormoon, and/or Cardcaptors, but the anime that got me into anime was InuYasha. Good times there, good times. ;D

Not sure if I already posted here, but my first anime was Pokemon. XD I really shocked myself a few days ago by being able to remember most of the first movie still. (I was REALLY little when I watched it.)

 

Sailor moon or Dragon Ball no Z Dragon ball!

 

Rurouni Kenshin was my first.

 

My 1st Anime was Sailor Moon too. I started watching it because it was different then all the other cartoon I watched. And my love of anime stemed from there.

 

My first anime was Robotech and transformers. I can remember renting those VHS tapes every time We went to the video store....and now I'm a huge fan of Gundam series...ah, giant Robots...

 

Lovely complex was my very first anime! funny anime! and then fruits basket, and now ouran high school host club! yay!

 

Well, technically my first anime was either Pokemon or Dragon Ball Z, buuut I didn't really know what anime was back then. I just considered them all cartoons. Yugioh was also thrown in there somewhere...

My first anime that actually caused me to realize what anime was was Fruits Basket.

 

Probably Pokémon, Speed Racer, or Yu-Gi-Oh!.

No, of course it was pokemon.

Around that time I also saw Flint the Time Detective, Digimon Adventures 01, Digimon Adventures 02 and Digimon Tamers, and Dragon Ball Z. Cardcaptors and Shinzo came slightly later. So my childhood was full of anime, but I didn't realize it.

Now I know, and I was given a powerful revival with Death Note, followed by Code Geass, The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya Elfen Lied, Neon Genesis Evangelion, Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann and Serial Experiments Lain. Then I traversed into Manga territory with Pokemon as my guide. It found Bokurano, and I'm going from there.

 

I think it was both Sailor Moon and Pokémon, as they came out in the same timeframe. I watched Sailor Moon on Toonami. So, yes, I think Sailor Moon was first anime. Pokémon wasn't far after.

 

Ehh, I think Digimon started earlier than Pokemon here, so that...

O_O Holy f*ck, Moomin is actually considered anime. Then it's definitely that, I started watching that practically the day I was born O_o​
