My goddess, your cousin is amazing. I recognized the Ubuntu and called it out to my friends and family.

    This is the best thing.

The last film I saw was The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the RIng for who knows what time. Way too many views on this trilogy.

When I noticed the Ubuntu (before I knew my cousin worked on the film), I pointed it out to all my friends as well.

I was going to post a link to my cousin's blog post explaining how Tron's special effects were done but it seems to be blacked out at the moment (SOPA protest?). You can download this magazine article instead. On his blog, he doesn't use his real name, and I did not know who he was. So when I was quoting his blog to friends I was talking about my cousin without realizing I was talking about my cousin. Only till much later did I realize who he was when he posted a blog entry about his family (without using names). Imagine my ****ing surprise when I emailed him trying to confirm who he was.

I'm going to try to find out by email if it was his or someone else's idea to include the Ubuntu.

The last movie I saw was Tabloid. Enthralling documentary, or as my brother puts it, "This movie is crazy!" Yes, I saw another movie since my last post.

Impressive stuff. I like the way your cousin thinks about programming, he sounds like me. I wish I could do the kinds of things he does...

The fact that there was a strong freeware message in this movie was not lost on me. I loved that from the beginning.

Not seen any films since my last post.

When we saw the trailer for this movie in the theaters, the audience applauded. Lol.

There were some very enjoyable scenes but plenty of lame jokes to tie those together. Had mixed feelings about this movie, but I guess I was entertained.

And this movie had a lot of flaws, but it's probably one of my biggest guilty pleasures

Saw a lot of musicals lately...

Little Shop of Horrors - A friend of mine showed me the first thirty minutes of it last year and I was finally able to finish it. I found it pretty funny, but not something I want to visit again any time soon.

Chicago - By the end of "Cell Block Tango" I fell in love with the show. Great humor, awesome acting, and I had no idea that John C. Reily could actually sing. I never got bored with it, and it's something that I can listen to over and over again.

Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street (1982) - I'm counting it, even though it's a TV movie. A recording of the traveling cast of the Broadway play, with all the staging and everything. This is how I love watching musicals, actors on a stage, performing these live so people later on can enjoy it (while I do like movie versions as well). I'm glad that I didn't know much about this going in because it just added much more to my experience.

A clockwork Orange was the last thing I watched.

I've been kind of in a satirical comedy mood.

Realistic gore is a plus in my book, but the plot got worse by the minute. Too bad, it actually started well.

    Kung Fu Panda 2. XD

It actually wasn't bad, for a sequal. It could have been better, but I've seen much worse.

Apparently my friend just started watching DBZ, and since I own 3 movies, I got him to watch this one. After watching it this morning though it makes me want to buy all of the other movies
