It's not remade, just more scenes were added and it was sort of upgraded to Blu-Ray. So the CGI is insane.

Anyway, last movie I saw was Empire Strikes Back.
Still the best of the trilogy. :'D

Holy crud was it good. Generally when I look back on animated films I loved when I was younger they seem kinda lame, but this one is still great. I think it was the lack of dialogue between the animals (just Spirit's inner monologue) -- it gave it a more serious feel than a lot of other animated movies. That and the music, scripting, storyboarding, animation... everything else was pretty great too, I must say xD.

I have no idea why it receives the hate it does. The lead roles do not sing bad at all (Gerard can be a little lack luster, but being his first time oh well). Emmy Rossum gives Christine a dainty voice which suits the character really well when she sings with Erik who has a much more powerful and darker voice; the elements clash so beautifully. I mean sure it does not match up to the original musical at all but damn it this is really good.

Yeah I know, it's a really old movie. But goddammit, I loved it. The fact that 95% of the whole movie happens in one room is what makes it so great.

Interesting movie, if you haven't seen it give it a watch. Helped that Nicky Cage was in it.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1

Very good movie and I can't wait to see Part 2. It was definitely a vast improvement from the other Harry Potter movies although it could have been better if the other movies were made to flesh out the story better. Nonetheless, it was still good imo.

I liked how the rivalry between Anne and Mary was shown Natalie Portman and Scarlett Johansson played there roles very well in my view.I also liked the movie because parts were historically true.
