What was the game that got you into gaming?

I can't really remember, it seems like I've been into them all my life...

Probably Sonic for the sega, the original mario games or Pokemon Yellow :3

 

Megaman the Wily wars for the megadrive was my first, and sonic came straight after.

 

I think it was the first Super Mario game...

 

Wario Land 2 on the Game Boy Color

Rayman 2 The Great Escape for the Dreamcast, funny thing is I caught myself playing it recently :D.

Legend of Zelda. Totally, that really got me into gaming.
Other than that Metal Gear.

 

Well when I was around six, Super Mario 64, Zelda Ocarina of time, and Metal Gear Solid 1 (my dad played it) affected me mostly. I never played any of the oldschool games until I was older. I used to play those games all the time. But after about 1 year when I moved into my new house and some new game systems like the PS2 started coming out, I didn't play them as much and then the one that really made me a gamer was Pokemon Red. I found it at a garage sale and bought it for 5 bucks. I played it nonstop until I was about 8 and started playing newer games. I have a big history of games really.

For me it was Sonic Spinball for the Genisis(My mom had the genisis and i was 3) The funny thing is I beat the game at age 3 lol...
