What was the game that got you into gaming?

First game was either Donkey Kong Countrey, or the origional Mario Kart for the nintendo.

 

Hmmm......I think....it was Zelda Ocarina of Time, because we always had one at my grandparents' house and all the little kids would create new files and play it for a bit. Of course they don't really know what the heck they're doing, but I didn't either. :D And still....I've never beaten it....-_-...(every time I get there and create a new file, a little kid would delete it to create a file of their own. Oh woe is me.)

Chrono Cross for the PS1. I had played other games like Mario and stuff, but CC was the first I really liked. I still have it too. No matter what happens, it will always be one of my favorites. <3

 

I remember playin' those as well. Great games. Used to love the battles in Mario Kart. Hated the Ghost track n' Bowser's castle though.

 

When my family and I first moved here, my dad decided to buy an N64 just for my brothers. But since I was close to them and all, I played a lot too (mostly Pokemon Stadium). Since then, we've gotten many other games like Ocarina of Time and other great hits. So I guess my first true gaming experience was on the N64.

But then there was that time before when I was still living in California that our family had a Sega Genesis and a Jaguar. I vaguely remember playing Doom a lot but I probably only played it rarely.

 

I played Sonic a lot on my genesis as a kid, but I don't think I took gaming as seriously as I do now until OoT came out on the N64.

When I was 7, that game was the shit.

 

I've been a gamer since the sega came out and my first game was a Barney game. It was lame because if you left it idle for like a minute, it would actually play itself....
Other than that I would say Jak and Daxter: TPL

 

I actually, finished it after KH2, but I started playing it first. I got KH2 and my PS2 for my birthday, in 2006, and I opened the PS2 before I was able to play KH2, and I had already bought KH1, so I started playing it before KH2. I hope that made sense.

 

For me it was Ratchet & Clank...
And then the first Kingdom Hearts

Probably one of the Jak&Daxter games, first or second.

 

I guess it was Mr Game and Watch, and Pokemon on the gameboy. After that I got a Playstation and have been a gamer since. Though FFVII was the game that got me into RPG's.
