What Video Game Made You Cry?

Rayman 2- Rayman freeing the slaves, as well as the ending....
...I was a little kid, shaddup.

 

I think I'd probably have to say either FFX at the ending, or possibly the ending of FFXIII ... yeah I know.

I don't know what it was about them, I just found them so sad, and the music that went along with them, especially XIII was just amazing and it was brilliantly well done.

I don't know why Square Enix's games tend to effect me so much though ... I don't normally cry at games.

Also, 1000th POST !!!!!!!!!!!! t last after 4 years, I finally did it!

 

Oh man... I don't know, I've cried at the end of quite a few games - I'm sucha wimp. One of them though, was the end of the Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time. I was about nine; it was so upsetting when

was a little sad. This was the first shooter I've ever played that had sad moments like that.

 

Never cried during a game mainly becuase ive never bought a game with a deeply emotional scene or im just wierd O.o

 

Yeah, the scene bothered me too. I decided to look a little more into it. This is just my thinking, but:

Eating ice cream with Axel and Xion was the only real thing that he ever had. You could say that they were really happy when the three of them were together. Roxas finds out that Axel's loyalties to the organization are far greater than his loyalties to his friends. Roxas felt abandoned, so that's one of the reasons why he ran away. When he meets up with Xion, he's releieved, only to find out that she's trying to kill him. When he remembers who Xion is when she is dying, he realizes that he will be all alone in this world. Ice cream was the symbolism of their friendship, and with Xion gone, he has nothing.

 

This. I didn't cry, but I felt bad.

 

Only a handful of games have made me even tear up a bit...

Crisis Core: Zack's death and After he killed Angeal.
BbS: All of their stories made me choke up and the Final Episode... 'tis too much...
Final Fantasy X-2: Shuyin and Lenne had a bad streak...

A video game that made you cry

I wonder if there was ever a video game that made you cry or break your heart.
The only ones I can think of are The 3rd Birthday, one of the Silent Hill games (I dont remember which one but Im positive it was Silent Hill 3) and Birth By Sleep (Secret Episode ending).
I am very curious if anyone ever had their heart broken or cry over a video game. Like a death of a character or how everything turned out in the ending. I am positive Final Fantasy Type-0 is going to make me cry and break my heart because of things my friend is posting on FaceBook about it when my friend played it which makes me want it so much making me jealous of my friend of having a gory Final Fantasy game!

I've never cried at a game, but the saddest I've ever been has been from Valkyria Chronicles. There's a death there that I just did not see coming until it happened. I used to rewatch the funeral scene everytime I played the game until I beat it.

 

Nearly cried in quite a few.
I did in Birth by Sleep.

I have never cried during a video game, movie or book but a few video games that I found particularly saddening/emotional include:

Shadow of the Colossus
Braid
Silent Hill 2

These are also among my list of favorite video games.

 

Metal Gear Solid 4.

I dropped a tear or two. Oh Naomi...

 

Birth By Sleep
And definately Final Fantasy. I actually cried when I beat Final Fantasy VIII, because it had taken me more than half my life, just to beat once

My choice has been revised.

inFAMOUS 2's evil ending was the first thing to make me cry in a game. And I cried at least five times from it.​

 

CCFFVII-Angel's death, and Zack's death

KH:358/2 Days- Xion's "death"

That's all I got.

 

Kingdom Hearts II made me tear up both when Axel died and a couple of other times as well; I can't distinctly remember which. Same as with 358/2 Days when Xion was dying and Roxas was forgetting her. ME CREYS

Other than that, I can't really think of any major ones.
