What Video Game Made You Cry?

I'd rather not mention what games have made me weep.

Because I don't cry. Wanna know why?
Because real men don't cry. *is shot because i'm a girl*

Anyway, I cried at the ending of Ocarina of Time, mainly because I didn't want Link to go back to being a kid again. (what can I say, I was five.) The ending of Days was pretty sad, but not sad enough to make me bawl. I cried at the end of KHI/CoM/KHII pretty dramatically, mainly because I was sad to see them end. I really can't think of any others...

 

One day I randomly decide to look up the FF7CC ending(never played the game just wanted to see it) and Boom! What seems like Aris' bf and Clouds friend(who I did later find out was Zack and even got the CC game) died and I was feeling so bad for Aris and Cloud tthat I was in tears.. And still ever time I watch the ending I'm in tears T_T

MGS3/4 made me shed manly tears though. That's it cause no other games are as manly as these and deserving of manly tears.

 

I have never cried because of a game, but, then again, I have cried all of maybe three times in the past three or four years, and that was only sparingly. I enjoy my sadness, but somehow tears are hard to come by with me, unless it is a very, very strong or home-hitting sadness. The end of Sacco e Vanzetti did it for me, but no game has equalled that scene for its emotion in my eyes.

 

i only cried in one game and that was in crisis core when zack received aeriths last letter and ddecided to go back but in the end he never got back and was killed ...

 

Again, I didn't cry but Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time/Darkness/Sky Had such a sad ending. And it was even sadder when Grovyle sacrificed himself for the main characters. And then on the 5th Secret Episode of Sky, when Grovyle and Celebi cuddle together because they think they're going to disappear. Very sad.

 

Cried at the end of SotC, and surprisingly I cried near the end of Red Dead Redemption.

 

MGS3 I have almost cried about, the whole thing with Boss and then EVA taking off, like I don't know how to explain why, but you could probably understand

 

I never cried during a game...well ok that's a lie...

i cried during the secret ending of BBS when i first saw it leaked on the internet...it got to me.

and i almost cried towards the end of FF XIII.

when you know who...became the thingy...and then that one thing happened...and then after a while they cut to the picture of you know who in that one thingy with that...condition.

and the romantic scene with Serah and Snow with the fireworks

 

Final Fantasy X got me pretty hard...

Fate Stay/Night (game - anime not so much - still good anime though)

Kanon (game and anime)

There are a lot more than this too! But I'm not afraid to admit that I'm a man and I cry! ... *cries hysterically*

 

Just gotten some new ones.

Persona 3 - Didn't really cry but sad that Minato only lasts until Graduation then beomes a statue to protect humanity.
KH - BBS: Each of the fates of TVA is something you never really want to experience.
Shadow Hearts & Covenant - First game, Alice offers her soul to ATman to protect Yuri and dies at the end, you can save her soul though through a sidequest, second game, Yuri has his memories slowly being stripped away by the Misteltoe and has to choose whenever he shoudl die to preserve his memories or live out his live as someone completely different, time travel is shown in Covenant, returning back to the first game.

 

never actually cried but the 2 games that came close to making it happen were:

Persona 4 - unfortunately I got the bad ending (and didn't know there was a good one until weeks later!!!!)

Heavy Rain - also got a bad ending first time around despite resetting everytime something unfavorable happened, lol (involves main character offing himself)

 

You just reminded me of that! Indeed, I have never really cried over something in a videogame before, but I have gotten tearful. That's one example.

There's also always something in a Kingdom Hearts game that makes me feel the same way, too. I'd list all examples, but they've been mentioned by everyone here.

And the movie was just.....no....talk about disrespect

 

Well....embarressing,but I cry at every video game I play.
Even Pokemon.
But when Axel dies in Kh,and Xion fades,I was bawling for hours XD

 

Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days's ending made me cry so much!

Yeah I know right? I was like,
"...Roxas, Xion is freaking diying and all you care about is icecream?! WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU?!"
Lawl!

 

Well.... I only cried in Crisis Core ending. Poor Zack. ;-;

But I wanted to cry In MGS4, FFVII(When Aerith died, she was my favorite character! Ç_Ç) and In KH 358/2 days. Oh, and In Grandia II, when Millenia "died". I think That's all.

Metal Gear Solid 4 after inserting the virus and Naomi's message....well, I teared up but didn't cry.
