As in soccer . I am not trying to make any assumptions if you don t like then fine this is mainly aimed at people who do watch football at least a bit. I mean there must be football lovers on here i guess. And i am not not assuming everyone loves football you can not like football and still support a team.
I don't wanna be "That guy" But in america, we call that sport soccer, and for some reason, call a oval shaped ball that we "Throw" Football, sure we kick it sometimes, but we mainly throw it.
I know that i just said the correct way to say it. I don t why but it seems most people on this site are from america
In all honesty, football in america should be called "Hand, sometimes kick, but mostly throwball" In short. "Handball"
I'm from Britain and I'm not a big fan of the football but if I had to say somewhere it would be Reading because that was where I was born. I'm a much bigger Rugby fan... but for that I just support "England" :3
We've got an array of members, but I think a good majority reside in North America. That doesn't mean we don't appreciate the real terminology, just that it's not what we grew up with. It'd be like me saying I eat chips, and people in North America would think of potato chips (crisps in your case), but you'd be thinking of "fries".
When i was younger, that confused me so badly, here i thought when i was at a resturant. "Fish and chips" i thought it was actually fish and chips, but i got chicken and fries. o3o
Y Yeah those have to be the few things we have to deal with in life i guess Reading are not a bad team actually they almost got qualified to the epl last year (english premier league). And in terms of rugby i don t really follow that much vut i do keep in track and i am supporter of the France rugby team because i am from belgium and i grew up french-speaking so i just love France in a whole.
I'm Texan. I just tend to root for Spain. Especially now that they've completely dominated in recent years.
