It pisses me off when BEN asks me what pisses me off.

when people try analyzing blockbuster action or superhero films to make them seem like they're more than just mindless summer movie time wasters

i would read it :v
but i just see superhero movies as the pop music of film. there's nothing wrong them. they're just fun. i don't find anything profound when i watch Captain America or Amazing Spiderman.

 

i mean.. that's fine? you don't have to look deep into them to enjoy them. if you don't have an appreciation for the art of storytelling you're not going to care. it's not a matter of analyzing superhero movies, it's a matter of analyzing everything.

 

no superhero movie has offered anything that's blown my mind in the storytelling area.

 

The lack of "On that day, mankind received a grim reminder: we lived in fear of the Titans and were disgraced to live in these cages we called walls" in the Attack on Titan dub.
