How'd they get Namine from Kairi?

Its the SNP, you get a board with a heap of names meaning things, and put bits and pieces together to create something thats a part of you or the character;

When I was in grade five, wayyyy before Kingdom hearts was released... I had a name I absolutely loved; Chitori

I took chi from Chisai (small) and Tori (bird), and put them both together so they still, in a way, meant "small bird"

And i still love that name.

EDIT: SNP = Selectional Name Process.

 

They seemed to sound like names for a girl,so I picked the one that sounded most likely to be for sure.
