What makes you cry?

but i feel ashamed...
last time it happened...when my best friend died...i didn't drop a tear...
nor when i lost all my grandparent this 2 years ago...

...am i heartless?

 

Nah, you're not. I wouldn't cry if someone close to me died. I think to myself they are in a better place. Everyone dies.

I think I'd cry only if my parents die. They're part for me since they helped me to grow up, they're the most important people for me.

 

People fishing for attention and/or pity make me cry.

A lot of things I shouldn't cry about.
I can't show my weaknesses so I swore I'd never cry again. °

 

but crying doesn't mean that your weak...
...if you cry for someone...it means that you care...if you cry because your hurt...well...then you just show them that in an easy way to tell...
i will never blame anyone for crying...
but...a weakness could be to hold all tears back...
a good cry can make you feel better sometimes...

 

It makes you vulnerable. Which is a close friend of weakness.
If you cry for someone it shows that you care but that doesn't really help anyone, does it? People in a vulnerable state need a solid beacon of hope, trust and help, not someone who is just as big a mess as they are. ;)

i think iv'e heard a lot of guys saying that when a girl cries at their shoulders in helps their relationship...
i don't know how...but....is that true?

 

It does, but when a guy cries just as much as her the living room just turns into a river of salty tears and that doesn't really help her.
Of course it's alright for her to cry, it will make her feel better.
And it will also make her feel better if she knows that she has someone she can count on, someone who cares without turning into an emotional wreck to show it.
