What is your reason for choosing your user name?

For me, well it all starts with Super Smash Bros. Melee. I used to play with someone who was absolutely amazing at the game. Most people like that have picked up nicknames for themselves. So I decided that I wanted to make a nickname for myself. In SSBM, the nickname would limit you to 4 characters, so I had to make something that could work with that restraint. well I was young at the time, so I thought it would be funny to make my name Noob. that lasted for a while, but then it started getting old and on top of that, I found out that someone else used the name.

So I tried thinking up a new name. Then suddenly, for some strange reason, I remembered the candy called Pez. I was like ok but that isn't all that great. Then I thought of Pizza and how cool of a word that is when it's spelled out.

I ran a few tests, under government funding, and discovered that the reason that almost everyone likes Pizza is because it has 2 Z's in its name instead of one! so I took another z and popped it on to the end of Pez, and wallah, Pezz was born.

The name stuck. I liked it so much that I used it for just about everything. I've used it for so long that if someone were to call out Pezz instead of my real name, I would probably answer them without even realizing that they didn't use my real name. I am Pezz. when Pezz is already taken as a username, then I am Pezz570, Pezz3950, or Pezz301.

 

I don't even remember, it sucks anyway, as probably does the reason why I chose it in the first place. :v I'm getting it changed as soon as possible.

 

I was originally roxasissomebody back in the day, and people normally called me Ris for short.

Might as well call me Rissy then.
Now here I am.

so here it goes toxic night was not my first name instead it was toxic
i liked the name toxic, i had tons of stuff labold toxic,

but it was to simple :(, i needed to make it better so,i was up late at night playing kingdom hearts when i saw the word sinister so,i put two and two together and i got toxic sinister

it worked for a while but it was missing something, it needed more flavor
then one day i was creating some sort of anime (by writing out on the computer) one of the characters was named (night)??? night wow i thought
that should be my username for everything

suddenly a light bulb whent off....... toxic night!!!!! so it stucked

Well, my favourite character was Naminé, and I always keep memories close to my heart, and Naminé edits memories and manipulates them, so it fit together quite well =]

 

It was a nickname my friends gave me that combined my first name and last name. It's kinda stupid though but whatever.

 

I chose it initially because I had played the horrible Darkwatch demo, and thought the game was too ****** to ever get any recognition. So I took the name 'cause it sounded somewhat decent.

Now I just use it everywhere.

 

i was going to ditch this site after a week so i just came up with anything, i didn't think i would become an active member

 

Well, my first name (shadow of sephiroth) I came up with it because sephiroth was awesome, and because I had no creativity and it was the first name I came up with.

My name now. Well, I like purple, therefore, I like Amethyst. The Heart at the end just seemed to go :D

 

Nashida's been a penname of mine for almost 7 years now. She was born when I was really big into Yu-Gi-Oh!, and was the yami character of a fan character I had made. She was essentially me. Then over the years she kinda evolved into my internet persona, and I haven't been able to part with it since.

Once, just for shits-n-giggles, I searched for my username in a baby names book. Turns out it's real: it's Indian (as in India) for "student" and is most often given to young girls.

 

Well, it all started when I was trying to think of a new YT name. I had no ideas about my names and my last three accounts had been banned for uploading AMVS (BTW my old names were KickassAlchemist, YuzuInfinity, and AngelShikigami). So, one day, I was mulitasking and on the comp while I was talking to my friend on the phone. She got bored of my lack of talking and spontainously shouted "Cherry Pie!" to get my attention and I thought "That's it!" so I tried Cherry Pie but it was taken so I added Pwns for effect. ​

my name choice was just random. i was thinking of a name and then i remember the rainbow monks from knd and i just chose that.

Well I originally changed my name to The Spirit because I liked the comic book character and thought the movie was going to be good (at the time). After the movie was done and out of theaters I wanted to change it but I realized I had no "default name" (a name that even after changing everyone still refers to you by) so I decided to keep The Spirit. Its an okay name. Just okay. But I dont have any other ideas so what the hell, why not.

 

I figured that was the reason. Yeah the guy who directed the spirit is only a good writer with his own work. when he works with someone else's ideas, he tries to make it his own and well.... all you need to do is watch the spirit to see where that lands him. lol
