What is the saddest anime?

the saddest anime that i ever saw was probably fruit baskets. i cried cause it sucked so bad.

 

I've never seen an anime that has made me cry in the slightest. I dunno what's up with that.

 

I know it doesn't sound like it's sad at all, but Tokyo Mew Mew. Only a few episodes are sad, but when they are, they're sooooooo sad. Like (SPOILERS!!!!!) the death of Purin's mom, the fact that Kisshu loves Ichigo soooooooo much but she ignores him, and when Kisshu, Pai, and Taruto all died. I didn't cry as much during Pai's death because when I watched it I was still mad at him for killing Taruto. >:| When Taruto died, I cried soo hard, but mainly for Purin because she look sho sad. ='( I cried the most when Kisshu died because he died trying to protect Ichigo from Deep Blue-sama, and then he died in her arms. T-T

Saikano made me cry ALOT
and Fruits basket made me cry like crazy also

 

The ending of DN Angel anime was too sad. Especially when Mio said goodbye to Riku and Risa. T^T I was BAWLING...

I've heard Kannazuki no Miko is a REAL tearjerker, too. Ayashi no Ceres....almost ALL the girls die!! Except for Aya and Suzumi...

 

Finally someone else who has seen Saikano. It is so sad. =(

 

The newest episode of Death Note is so sad when the new character talks about his childhood.

 

Despite the gore, Elfen Lied was definetly a tear jerker....

Like the lines "We have to do a few more tests so be brave, okay?" "Okay, Papa, I'll be brave...Goodbye, Papa." That made me cry badly ;_;
Mayu's story made me cry, too, I felt so bad for her.
And when Mariko was reunited with her father was sad, too.....even the *SPOILER* kiss at the end made me cry....such a sad anime.....

 

I know :( it really really was *teary eyed thinking about it*

Another one that has made me sad lately is Death Note :( Eeeeeep *cried a little at THAT episode*

 

So far, Bleach has made me cry...poor Ichigo and his mom! :(

 

Fullmetal alchemist and Graveof the fireflies...TT^TT

 

I've heard about that one (Grave of the fireflies) is it any good?

 

I just started watching Wolf's Rain and it's pretty sad.

 

Yeah I didn't Cry for Cheza or Darcia though. I don't care about Cheza frankly. Blue's death made me sad I cried at Hubb's even though I didn't care for him. Toboe's Death also made me cry a little. Tsume's I cried xD I loved Tsume he had such a cool personality! But that was two years ago I saw the subbed version.

I'd have to say Ginga Densetsu Weed.

I cried:At John's Death. He was a strong fighter yet he died. I felt sad when Kagetora's cousins died but what I like is they purposly died laughing at Genba's Group xD Toube's Death was sad well when Jerome cried that made me sad. Blue's death was weird but depressing. Riku's was definantly one of the saddest. He died fighting for his son's life and at the same time trying to get his son(Teru)Forgivness because he beat Teru for things he never did.

Teru was a complete break-down at his father's death, and I don't blame him. Genba(bad guy) I cried at that because Hougen(Main bad guy) was forced to kill his brother after he was thrown down a hill and slammed his head into a rock(Attacker's were Tesshin and some other Koga dog) so Genba went crazy thinking his brother was an enemy and Hougen crushed his skull killing his brother.

So yeah there is a lot of deaths in Ginga Densetsu Weed, but hey there in war.

 

the ending made me sad cuz i thought ed died in ep:50

and the movie wuz kinda sad cuz winry will never get to be with ed

the end of the movie wuz so gay(but still kinda sad).
i also cant help but think it would have been kinda cool for ed to stay dead.

 

I don't watch much Anime, so I'll have to say Naruto...
