this game probably isn't that rare considering it's only $30-50 on ebay but whatever.

 

I have a sealed copy of FFVIII which, in the UK at least, go for anywhere between £50 and £100 on ebay. I would fer sure sell it, but its value will be decreased because of some cracks in the case. ;c It may not be the rarest game I have, but it is the most valuable.

I never had a save pack though so it was all for naught by the time it got turned off. But still fun as all get out.

In terms of current rarest games though, I'm not too sure. I believe there are a few SNES ones lying around (as I found the system the other day), so it's likely to be among those or the N64 (which is probably Goemon).

Not the most rare games in town, but not bad I guess

 

a cartridge of Zelda and SNES cartridge of Chrono Trigger. sadly, the Chrono Trigger one seems to have something loose inside of the cartridge. if you turned it a certain angle, the save data will get wiped out, lol.

 

Not really anything rare but Tales of Symphonia on the Gamecube. All the old Tales games are hard to find. Also have that game too Hero of Time.

along with MegaMan Legends and Silent Hill.
Im still trying to find a descent deal on Kuon.

 

Castlevania Symphony of the Night. Goes for at least $90 of amazon new.

 

First Mario game on the GameBoy I suppose?

That is indeed a rarity. I have the First Digimon World too and Rumble Arena, that's probably rare for a reason.

 

I used to have the Zelda Collection disc you could only get as a Nintendo Power subscriber, but I lost it. Just as well, probably wouldn't have wanted to keep it anyway; the games froze every couple hours, and the save screens were poorly integrated and somehow made the games more likely to freeze.

E: Oh yeah! I guess the original Disgaea counts. Totally own that, manual and all. :L

 

I used to want to play Digimon World 1 as a kid. But back then, discs were really buggy on the playstation and would sometimes not work or somehow have the save data of somebody else on them.

That game is just in demand with collector's, not so much rare.

Price is usually a good sign of rarity, especially if you compare it with sales. Generally something in the $300 range is super rare and it's no longer about demand.

 

Probably the original Ico. Apperantly they weren't able to sell out the stock here in Norway, and the game was in bargain bins for years. I must have looked at the game quite a few times, it wasn't until I found out it was related to SotC that I finally bought it. Took even longer until I found out it was rare.

 

Probably either One Piece Grand Battle or Psychonauts.
Persona 4, too. I never see that being sold outside of online stores and sometimes at anime conventions.

 

They mean rare as in price. If you see it at just about anywhere, it's not that rare, lol.
