What is the best type of rock?

What specific style of rock do you like most? Sorry if I forgot your favorite kind in the poll, I could only do 15 kinds, and those were the ones that popped in my head.

i like alternative muh self. the 80's rock was really good (meaning 80's alternative)

 

I listen to a lot of Christian rock. Good music and uplifting messages =D.

 

Same here. Good examples would be Skillet and Red. Awesome music. <3

 

Cristian Rock is indeed great, one of the bands who made the most moving songs where Nickelback and The Fray.

But seriously, where is Rock & Roll? I'M A GOOFY GOOBER!

Oh well, then I choose Punk, since it kinda sounds like it...

 

basically they're all good but most songs i like are alternative

 

Skillet, RED, Pillar, Disciple, Thousand Foot Krutch... they're all good Christian rock groups.

 

Metal and Screamo are the shizzy! XP

Screamo, Heavy, Christian-Screamo (the best screamo bands, like really), and experimental.

 

I'd say Alternative, it seems to get me in the music mood.

 

well....how could you forget to mention flyleaf as a christian rock band?

so i say christian, because flyleaf is a good band.

All the best and most memorable bands of rock have been hard rock bands and alternative bands. These are just statistics, but in my opinion, alternative rock is the best.

 

Me go with hard rock. Though I also love alternative.

 

Have you ever listened to Christian-Screamo bands? As I Lay Dying (yes, they said they were a Christian band themselves), blessthefall (Drums are amazing and the vocals are too), Destroy the Runner (An overall good band, but not as good as blessthefall), there is a lot more too, but really, most of the most famous/talented Screamo bands, are Christian.

 

Ahh, I can't even choose. Recently I've been more into pop music than rock, but if I had to choose I'd just say Alternative Rock, Spunk Rock (yes that is a real genre), Indie, and Folk Rock.
