What is Death Note?

All I know is there's a guy named L that everyone seems to like, and something about apples? XD

But seriously, what is it about? It seems everyone is into it, but I've never heard of it before I came to this site.​

 

A Death Note is a notebook that will kill anybody who's name is written inside it.

 

I don't really know anything about it except that it is an anime show about someone named L. I'd like to find out, too.

Edit: Oh, thanks for the info. Is that the main idea of the show or what?

Its a Show about a Highschool Kid Named Light(about to go to Collage) Get a Note Book thats called the Death Note, How to use the Death Note is to Write the Person Name he will Die, But to make the Person to die that you got to have the Person Face in ur Mind While Writing the name, So The Person thats Sharing the same Name isn't gonna to die, and L is A well Known International Detective, He Sovle the Hardest Cases in the world, He is Working on the KIRA Case, KIRA is the Name of Everyone Gave Light, beacuse they don't know Light real Identity is, But its a Good Series, you should all see it.

Depends on your pick, really. I haven't read the manga myself so I can't voice my opinion there.

The anime is fantastic though.

 

well so far it's about the same . i've read the manga and seen the dubbed episodes that are out so far and they are both pretty good ^^ . there aren't alnny fillers yet and it's following the manga . they are showing it on [adult swim] if u wanna watch the anime

Well I havent read the manga yet but Ive seen the anime. the anime is fantastic. I think its better in Japanese than English. I guess the manga has somewhat of a better ending though.

 

Well I don't know anywhere that has the magna online, so...

((as I said earlier, all this has to be on the computer. I have to keep this a secret from my mom. She'll go crazy at anything that has "death" in the name. I'm pretty good at hiding what I do on the computer, since I'm in a room she rarely goes into.))​

The manga and the anime have pretty much the same ending, and what the anime lacks it makes up for with the director's cut.

Well if you actually searched for this yourself, you could find it in less than 5 minutes. it really isnt that hard to find.

 

I'm over half-way through the anime, then I'm gonna go back and read the magna.​
