358/2 Days What is box 30?

I'm using the brady guide book and on various maps it says box with a blue 30 next to it. When I look in these areas there's nothing there.
What does it mean? The book doesn't mention it.

uh i didnt need the book, but maybe try looking for a key to the map you are looking at >.>

 

There's no key at all to any of the maps.

 

The chests have a little chest icon with the contents. This just literally says 'box 30' then an arrow to an open space on the map. It's weird. Even if I stand there and try to examine there's nothing there.

 

Strategy guides are guaranteed to have at least 1 print error because they were rushed for publishing and shipping before the game launched.

I know in the past that I've seen entire maps winding up on the wrong page in Pokemon guides, among other errors such as incorrect stats or moves being listed.

 

I have the brady guide as well.
It may indeed be a print error like Chronosquare suggested. However it seems like it reoccurs too much throughout the guide book.......
Maybe its where a trigger box is for the game...

 

I would check with every mission that has the area that the Box 30 is being listed for - one possible misprint is stating an objective/chest location where it's not, because that chest/objective is from another mission. (Unfortunately, the only way to reliably check the chest locations would be to play through the game again.)

 

I JUST figured it out.
It has nothing to do with story mode, its the location of standalone mission points in mission mode.

 

Yup. The numbers on the maps are the crystals in mission mode that you can get without defeating enemies. The word "Box" means that there's a box there in mission mode. You have to break it to get the 30 (in this case) points worth of gems.
