    It's a question I was wondering.

Your opinion on what's beautiful. It can be look, personality or whatever.

Whatever we want it to be. There isn't going to be anything more profound to follow this.

Yeah, it can be anything. It's like that quote, "beauty is in the eye of the beholder".

It is as Crisp said "Beauty is in the Eye of the Beholder".
Beauty is also a mask or illusion. That is why i use this sayings
aswell "Beauty is only skin deep" and "Never judge a book by
    it's cover".

I believe that, even though outside beauty is good, it is better to have the kind of inner beauty which can be inside anyone, no matter what shape or size. If someone is really beautiful on the outside but is a horrible person on the inside then it defeats the purpose of beaty. The special ones are those who have both kinds of beauty. In my experiance, also, it tends to be the beautiful ones who usually are the horrible ones but there are exeptions of course. The reality of it is that man has always looked to the physical from of something to see if it makes it beautiful or elegant rather than the abstract and enigmatic from of the mind and personality to determin if something is ugly or horrible.

IMO, beauty is an indefinable element, a "je ne sais quoi" (4 years of French lessons finally paying off!) Beauty is entirely subjective, ie. what is ugly to one person may be beautiful to another. Beauty can be found in countless places, like physical attractiveness, inner beauty, and then you can find beauty in art, music, literature, drama, poetry, sculpture, science and mathematics, architecture, the environment, spiritual things, and so on... But that's enough philosophical musings from me...

Beauty is, well, everything. It can be looks, intelligence, kidness, anything. Personally, I think beauty is what's inside and how some feels. Nodoubt, it's also how attractive a person is but that should be minor compared to how someone acts.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

But to me beauty doesn't necessarily weigh heavily upon looks. It's more personality, being charismatic, enjoying life. It's a quiet walk in the woods or being happy. Beauty is the part of us that we use to make ourselves feel at peace.

As has already been said repeatedly, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. As you've said, what is -your- opinion on what it is...so...

To me, beauty is to look at someone and see it's not a fake person before you. They don't have to wear a lot of make up or any. The person doesn't have to dress up all gala and be putting on a mask for others and is just the way that person is. The more honest and real a person is, the more I find that beautiful. That can range from how they dress, which is to not just 'fit in' but how they choose to wear the clothes, how they do their hair, what the attitude is, do they study or whatever. As long as someone isn't putting on a show spectacle to impress others and be a stereotype, I can find it beautiful and an expression that is in a way an art form.

Even if someone does not look good to me, as in the person is a bum or just isn't what typical people find attractive, if that person is true to themselves, they can be very beautiful. Think about some of the actors and actresses, singers etc we have and not all of them are super hot. Some of them just have a persona or aura that we just know might make them intriguing.

Also, to me beauty can be more than physical attraction in a way as to state everyone I think is a beautiful person, it doesn't mean I want to get with them and I can use it universally to describe men or women, children, whatever. Nature can be beautiful to me as well, or seeing some sites in a city or artwork, a song, etc. Something or someone that I consider a beautiful thing or person just is a reason in itself to not give up on the world or humanity. It's something that can help find inner peace because you can see it in others and around you.

Beauty to me is being smart and having good higene(sp?). Looks help along the way too. Someone who can be themselves and express what they truly love, not what they want people to believe just because they're around someone who might judge them. Someone who won't hide, but take what and who they are and show everyone. Someone who can have a good time and play some guitar hero and ddr is cool too. lolll

But as a generalized statement, anything beautiful is anything that is attractive to a person.

    ^ hygiene

Anyways, beauty is the eye of the beholder (This has been seriously repeated over and over)

Personally, I think beauty is just having a clean outer appearance, as well as intelligence and a good attitude. Beauty is judged by someone's opinion and also that person's self. Beauty is shown through cleanliness, poise, intellect, manners, attitude, respect, and so on.

    What is...beauty?

    Beauty is:

My opinion on beauty wouldn't necessarily always be external (but it would most certainly help).

If their personality is friendly, cheerful, and honest, that would be beautiful. And I don't mean those who put up a front. I mean, naturally easy to like.

I will once again repeat the line:

'Beauty is in the eye of the beholder'.

Like Darkwatch, I believe that beauty is just basically being smart, good hygine with the additional factor of looks. Someone who doesn't hide behind a mask around their fellow peers, someone who will express feeling and someone who is not afraid to speak their mind.
