I think a disorder can never be fully defined.

As a student with several disabilities, I have never been accurately labeled with any "disorder" if you will.

A disorder I think society defines it as something wrong with someone. But what is wrong? What do you think is wrong about it? Someone with asthma? Someone who can't go outside of their house or smokes?

A disorder will and always be too vast to explain, in my opinion.

I agree campletely. I myself have a disorder, ADHD, and I myself can't really describe it. For those of you who are wondering what ADHD is, it is Attention Defecite Hyperactivity Disorder.

I often find "disorder" is a cute way of a psychologist telling you that you are different from other people.

    Difference is good.

Simply saying what my 'disorders' are, will maybe clarify for some people so here goes *takes in a long breath*

Extreme addictive personalities(yes plural, and basically, I am automatically in a position, due to birth and parents, to easily get addicted to anything possible, as I have learned the hard way with cigarettes, alcohol, drugs, even videogames/computer)
OCD(its not ALWAYS having to do things multiple times, its classified to anyone that obsesses over a miniscule object) I have to have my dvd's and video games in an exact order (Ps2:greatest hits->Ps2->GameCube->DVD->Xbox->ps1) and in an exact order, if one of them is out of place I will know and wont be able to function properly until I fix it.
ADHD AND ADD yes I have the tendencies of both, ADD people tend to be the ones craving attention constantly and are bouncing off the walls, etc etc, and then you get ADHD who are extremly hyper one second, and sleeping the next, also, caffeine tends to have an opposite effect on ADHD sufferers.
Bi-Polar Depression I basically will be happy one minute and then want to just crawl in bed and dissapear the next, it's very hard to get under control, and some people never do, which is what one of the leading causes of suicide is as well. Very bad to have tied into ADHD and alcohol/drug abuse.

Now, with all those listed up there, I should say 'disorders' are extremely common, especially in people whose parents were teenagers in the late 70's-80's because of rampid drug and alcohol usage, birth defects such as these are extremely common nowadays(just not usually as vast as mine ;))
