Kingdom Hearts II What If Sora Didnt Exist

Lets Say Roxas Was the main character in kingdom hearts and 2
And sora did not exist even as roxas's nobody who would be roxa's nobody instead?

 

Because sora never existed there would never be a roxas, just like you wouldnt exist if youre father didnt.

 

no what im trying to say is if roxas took soras place in the whole kh series and ther was no sora atall not even as a nobody

If there was no Sora Square Enix would have just come up with another character to fill the current position of Roxas. =/

Well, Roxas doesn't have to take Sora's place or anything in the game. Just instead of focusing on Sora, switch to Roxas's side of the story.

 

Well without Sora is like there is no Kingdom Hearts at all.

Hmmm, i dunno who Roxas's nobody would be. Holy moly this is weird to think about... its like my RoxasxKairi fears come true XDDD I can't picture Roxas where sora is. I just...can't....

 

I can imagine it without Sora. They'd do the same story line with Roxas, and use another character as his nobody (not an existing character). Just a random kid... it's not that hard.

 

Nah, Sora is just...like... the KH dude. I just can't see Roxas taking his place. At all. I mean, logically, yes i could. But just... agh.... no, i can't.

If there was no Sora in KH, I think the story would have been vastly different and Roxas would have fallen to Darkness instead of Riku. His temperament is totally different than Sora's and it was this that saved Sora really in all the face of animosity he had to cope with. Also, Sora is more amiable than Roxas so Roxas never would have made many friends, so might as well remove all the FF characters etc. Roxas would try to do the right thing but had a bad temper and stubborn reactions. I don't think he'd have been as interesting to go through the storyline as Sora was, even if Sora is like a big kid who can be clueless at times. Without Sora as well, I don't think Riku would have even been in the story because Roxas would be more angry than he was, and if Riku was, he'd either have fallen to darkness for a totally different reason or had to try to stop Roxas.

I rather feel Sora's actual friendly, amiable, clueless personality were needed to be the center of the story for KH1, CoM and KH2. That's not to say Sora didn't also make mistakes, because I can point out quite a few things I found that if Sora hadn't of done them, or noticed things earlier in KH, CoM and KH2, the story would have ended better for some others. I just think Roxas is a lot more assertive, angry, when he gets confused he gets mad in which Sora just goes 'huh?', etc. Also, he wouldn't have had Sora's patience to deal with certain scenes and Riku and Sora probably would have fought to the death over a mistake rather than just defeat.

I agree, Roxas would probably be the one going to the Dark side and Riku would have Kingdom Key or both of them would be on the Dark Side and King Mickey has to stop them or search for someone else with the Keyblade since Kairi is in a deep sleep and fighting with Donald and Goofy would suck.

 

Personally, I'd picture Riku being the main character with Roxas being his best friend. Then again, if that happens then, who does Roxas fight in Deep Dive?

 

If Roxas was the main character and Sora didn't exist, I'd say:

"Yeah, this guy's pretty decent and smart, but not nearly as funny. I say, instead of him being the star, we put in a kid with brown hair, spikes going all over the place, and make sure he's dumber than this Roxas guy. The game would be much funnier and the franchise will last longer. It's a sure fire hit!"
