What if life is actually simpler than it really seems?

That's the beauty of life right? The mystery...
but what if we are wrong.. (Wrong about what? I don't know.)
What a waste that would be, wouldn't it?

Life seems more complicated to those who make living more complex than necessary. It's all on perspective I suppose.

 

Uh...

Take away the mystery, the uncertainty and doubt from life...

...you take away hope. You take away purpose. And you take away choice and free will.

If life were that simple, then how would you live?

Same if life were complex. No one would be able to figure out anything in life.:wacko:

 

we should all try to just live off of instinct sometime.

 

In my opinion, you are partly responsible for how complicated you make your life. You are in a lot of control to make it simple or complex.

A small--yet very eluding--example is the ridiculous amount of pseudosciences that the teenage community likes the bring into the social scene. Just the other week I had my sister's friend talk up a rant about how different hugs mean different things; if you hug a person a certain it means this, if you hug them another way it means that. Then it ends with "Do you know how to hug a girl?"

"Yes, I do," I reply. "You place two arms around them and pull them close to you."

"No no, but you see, it's complicated because you have to do it a certain way to express what you want to say."

"No," I respond once more. "A hug is quite simple to do."

As are many other dilemmas in life, if you ask me. Please spare yourself the drama and fabricated intricacies and see things for what they are. Unless you like putting on shows for yourself and being immersed in your own fake reality, I suggest the saner route. Some people might just live longer.

 

I for the most part agree with shoush here, but I am more hard on us about it because I think we are completely the reson that life is so hard because we all make it harder then it needs to be. We do this by trying to keep up with fads (and if you say you don't do that you are lying to yourself cause you do, the act of not having a fad is a fad.) or to trying to put your best foot forward. We as people are too concerned with what others think so we overcomplicate things and become obsessed with things. Now we are all and I mean all guilty of this, lord knows that I try to impress when I am meeting someone, because that impression that will be left, but in doing so we over think simple things, but these simple things make a very large difference in our lives. Such as what to wear or where to it.

So its us and society that has complicated life, more than it really is. Lord knows that living out in the plains of Africa may not be as much of a hassle then living anywhere "civilized" so to speak is.

 

But then theres hte matter of something is only as complicated as your mind says it is.

 

And we have been breed to make these kinds of thing way more complicated then they really are.

 

Yeah, we have, and sometimes it confuses me.
