Kingdom Hearts II What happened to Ansem the Wise.

I still think that he is dead. The "anything could happen"-part got pretty much covered by the Riku thing. They can still use Christopher Lee in BBS, flashbacks, or they can do the same thing that they did in the Jak&Daxter series. You know, the guy that was scared of everything, uhh whatsisname, Vincent, Vin or something like that... Anyways, he died in the second part, but he managed to dump his brain on his computer, so he kinda lived on in it. And if Ansem was blown to bits, there probably wouldn't be a body. But Nomura's the genius here, not me, so he might make Ansem pull off a Gandalf/Murtagh thingie

 

My mind is so scattered, I always forget something when I post replies... Sorry!
Didn't Ansem say in one cutscene something like "I have to amend to the young people"? So if I understood that right (does it mean something like "I have to pay my dues"?) wouldn't that kinda be a setup for him to sacrifice himself for Sora and his friends (most of 'em are young anyways...)

 

Vin is my favorite Naughty Dog character in entireity(I can do that since I've played all of the Naughty Dog studios games at some point in my life) character soooo...I got the message clearly...xD

And yes, Nomura is a genius, which means he won't kill Ansem the Wise just yet. At some point beyond, we all may think he is permanently dead...but then again, at some point, we were all dead sure that the guy we fought at the end of the first game was a guy named Ansem...and also that he was dead, and still wasn't entirely.

If Nomura knows a good plot, which he always does, he will find the most creative way out there to bring him back.

Who knows? It may be a game between the time we find out.

But chances are, BBS won't be the only place we'll see Ansem again.

The point behind my statement was pretty obvious to that point.

 

I honestly think he died. But it would be pretty cool if he actually didn't die and came back as a surprise in KH3.

 

My point was that Nomura could probably find an other way of bringing Ansem back, he doesn't necessarily have to be alive... It would get kinda stupid if every good guy would make it out alive in the series... (And I'm not counting Axel as a goodie, he was pretty darn evil in CoM!) But I have trouble expressing myself every now and then, so I just randomly press keys to make something semi-coherent!

 

Ansem had his resolve and everything. I think it would be more powerful if he was actually dead. And like I mentioned before, he wouldnt have any purpose to the story (kh2 going forward, not backwards).

 

He vanished O_O

 

Or maybe he became part of Kingdom Hearts.

 

He probably wasn't killed but was transported somewhere. Or maybe he was mutated or shrunk. If Riku could turn back to normal then who knows?

Bad news? How is that bad news? The Nobody-Axel died, but he came back in an other way! Which was one of my points. Maybe we are gonna see Ansem's nobody or Heartless in the next KH!

 

that's true, as far as we know - he would of died, but he could of escaped somehow, as there was no trace of him after the explosion

 

All more to the point of how Ansem "dies" is not death. Death in Kingdom Hearts is when a body collapses and a heart floats away, with Sora being an exception as he disappeared in a spark of golden pyrefly looking things, but that is because he released his own heart.

"My hearts is telling me what I must do!"

Do you believe such wording can be that of a suicidal nitwit? No, it is the words of one very wise in the ways of the heart. Not by mind he knows, but by his heart.

It is possible, yes, that his heart was consumed and locked away in Kingdom hearts, to negate my point. However, such a fate is not befitting to one who still thirsts for the knowledge he had lost; the hopes, dreams, and just and fair power over the people of Radiant Gardens, he had lost.

 

I think he died in the natural sense that he did not lose his heart, but actually lost his life.

 

Not the way it happens in Kingdom Hearts. Pure and simple.

When Clayton loses his heart when the Stealth Sneak falls on him and crushes him, his heart blends with the heartless and both return to Kingdom Hearts, for example.

I doubt Square-Enix would waver from their own original concept.

But also, perhaps Ansem is dead. Perhaps, since Nobodies are made from people both bad and good, he turned into a Nobody! Humanic like an Organization member due to his strong will, heart, and mind.

Of course, Xemnas was already taken, so Ansem would have to choose something like Manse-0.0....nevermind....he could change his name to Xenmas. Rearrange the M and N.

 

You know I never really thought about it. But I guess it's possible that he was transported somewhere.

 

Nothing/In-between Realm maybe?
But he/his heart certainly went to Kingdom Hearts.
Or he became a nobody/heartless?
