If you were very close to me then you'd know that I LOOOOVE horror. The feeling of your heart beating fast as you open the next door, grabbing your camera to snap a shot of a deadly ghost, or even being chased just makes me feel so joyous. Being scared half to death is fun.

I also love a good RPG now and then.

I disagree. Pokemon is one of the greatest game series I've ever seen.

WFG, I'll bet you've never even play a game or grew up with the series. =\
Like most of us here have.
I'll admit, Diamond and Peal saddens me, but only because the Pokemon in it are evolved forms of the original and look kinda ugly.

Hissora...have you ever played...I forgot what it's called...but it has to do with ghosts and cameras. And there's three games in the series. I remember my friend told me about it, and I kinda ran away when she brought the site for the game up. xD

Um...I like first person shooters. A lot. xD
I like RPGs, stragey games (like Age of Empires...anyone remember that? D: ), and I don't know what category it'd fall under, since it has a unique style of play, but Okami is one of my favorites too.

I really like RPG ^^;. But FPS/Just scary games comes next. I like being scared out of my mind while playing a video game. It's more fun ;3. Should've seen me during some parts of GoW. I screamed. XD

    Action/adventure or RPG.

I do like SOME RTS or FPS, but that's hardly ever. Takes a really good game to make me like those kinds. lol

I like RPGs, Action/Adventure, and its a weird one but I always did like certain RTS games (Real-Time Strategy),Specifically LOTR:Battle for Middle Earth 2. Oh yeah, forgot FPS. I usually play CoD4 and Halo 3, but my brother just got Battlefield: Bad Company and I play that now.

Fighters/Beat-em-ups has always been a fav of mine, ever since I first tried a Tekken 3 demo version I have been hooked. :> Out of all the games I have, it's these types of games that has the most advanced control settings, to truely survive you'll have to know as much as possible about each move each character has. Don't get me started on the combos, heh. Just looking at tournaments on youtube makes me go "holy crap you guys are fighting gods".

Platforms/adventure genre always makes me happy. Always. It's the kind of game that brings out the inner child in me, it's so lovely. Though lately what used to be platform developers they've gone more freely along the action and adventure section, one good example being Naughty Dog. As long as it makes me feel younger than I am I forgive them. :>

Lately I've gotten a good feel of RPGs too, Kingdom Hearts 2 being my first which eventually lead me to Final Fantasy and Odin Sphere. I'm sure people have already stated the obvious reason as of why it's a fav genre - you have a lot of planning to do, you're in charge of how you want your characters to preform as warrior or mage or whatever. No game has demanded so many hours just to level up as RPGs have.

I'd just like to mention that when you see so much 3D out there in the jungle of videogames, it's a relief knowing that some game genres has some games in 2D as well. Dunno why, but it is a great change when you need a break from realism.
