Traditional Art what do you think? (Ven Drawing)

this is a drawing i made today of Ven... what do you think???

The back of his head is too flat, rounding it outwards would make it look proportioned. His hair seems a little too long in the front, and it could have some more spikes at the top. Try making his neck longer and thinner so the rest of the body doesn't seem bunched up against his head. The shoulder is too small, making it and the arm larger and would balance that out. You have quite a bit of space left on the page, so try extending the rest of his body. Shading would add so much to the overall look as well. It would help to find a picture of Ven in his armor to use as a referance. Otherwise, it's not bad =]

 

I like the face...but yeah...like .kairi. said, there's no "head shape." To avoid that, make sure to use a circle as a beginning shape and draw off that for the head.

 

The face is good but the back of the head needs working on, and maybe try it out with a slightly longer neck, basicly everything what .kairi. said, if it helps use a compass to get the round head then edit it to get the chin and everything else in but good try!

its pretty good but i think it could use some work as well tho. the back of the head looks a little weird to me u should work on that a little. evrything besides that looks great to me:D

 

I love the angle+pose!!!

seriously those are both very good thing there and the face is absolutely cute and and so manga style (the eyes are magnificent) the pointy hair is so well done and cute, even the armour is well drawn but the flat head is not so good and really gets to me when I see it (it needs to be fixed somehow).

i know i got the armor wrong, but it WAS my first guy+armor drawing! i hadn't any experience before this!
ill try drawing Ven again sometime when i have time, since school really takes away my freetime...
