What do you think of Gay Marriages?

Who ever said that marriage was ONLY for opposite genders? If they allowed it, then it could be for everyone.

Why would they call it something different? It would still be the same thing, just different genders. It would be easier if they just stuck with the word marriage.

 

I don't even care if someone has a gay marriage. It's their life and it's their business.

Personally, I don't like homosexual relationships but as long as I'm not nominated to be a candidate in a homosexual relationship, I'm fine.

 

Marriage has changed over the years. It has been a 'forced' issue on many people of many cultures and still is in some areas. In more liberated regions, I do not see what is wrong with gay marriage in the least. People in more free societies can pick who they want to be with, and if you prefer to be with someone of the same gender, so be it. I'm not gay, but really I can't see any issue as to why it shouldn't exist. With how people get divorces so much any ways, it's not really a burden in a financial way and insurance gets enough money that they can stuff their grubby attitudes you know where. The other reason I hear for not allowing it is the religious one and well, they abolish everything that has fun or deeper meaning to it other than what they believe in any way such as video games or freedom of religion and speech.

 

I am all for Gay Marriage.

I myself am Bi. I respect all orientations and believe that marriage doesnt have to be restricted to a man and a woman. As long as it's love, it doesnt matter. I'm also athiest, but I have many christian friends. If god is really going to send me to hell for loving a girl, then I don't understand why so many people worship him. Equality is very important to me.

Furthermore, Its been said a million times: people who are LGBT DO NOT choose to be that way. We just... we're born that way. We can't control it at all.

Okay, well. Let me tell you guys a story and PLEASE READ THIS, I'd find it respectable if you did. Ever since I was little, I've wanted that perfect life. I wanted the dream house, beautiful children, and a wonderful life. I didn't ever think ONE thing could change everything. Until I realized "Hey. Guys give me errections, not girls."
I can remember crying because I thought I "wasn't working right".
But now I'm over it.
And I want that perfect life, regardless of the gender of my partner.

Also, for those of you who bring up Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve and what-not...I can understand the point of "if God wanted men to like men he wouldn't have made women." but...

IF GOD DIDN'T WANT MEN TO LIKE MEN, HE WOULDN'T HAVE MADE ME!

 

I love the idea of gay or straight marriage.

I have freands who are gay and are happy, because they know they have a freands like me to help back them up if some mean person calls them somthing really hurtful, or push them, or something along those lines. which is kinda weird cause some of my family members hate homos and are actually mad at me for having gay freands, but no madder what I will always stick with my freands forever. Even if it means ticking of half of my immediate family.

I'm not gay and I'm not against it either, and I'm even agreeing, but all I'm saying is God never judge one for being gay or a lesbian, God still treated those people the same way as we are, with care.

Exactly... so why are people against the whole thing, they're still people, they have feelings, they know they're gay, they know they're lesbian, but they love each other and nobody can do anything about that...

Hm...I don't know what god thinks about gay...But i don't think that being gay is right...I mean,i don't wanna be yucky,but doesn't men and women have what they have to,well you get the point.So what gay people do at their bed is DEFINITELY not right...That's my opinion bout that.

I dont really see the problem with it, But I think thats only cos my sisters married to a girl.

 

Touching unclean animals is a sin. That means no shrimp and no football (pig skin). There are also many "sins" that must have capitol punishment (such as cussing, and planting two different kinds of crop side by side). Working on Saturday is also a sin. So really, if you believe that your God thinks that gays are going to burn in Hell, then MOST OF THE WORLD IS GOING TO BURN IN HELL.

Why do people say "this is metaphorical" when they don't agree with and say "this is literal" when they do? It's hypocritical.
