And technically you're not supposed to spill your feelings as an argument when it comes up to Debate, but rather spill facts.

Well, justmeh and Mirai weren't doing anything more than trying to prove your argument wrong (AKA ze point of a debate!). They weren't attacking you personally - but obviously since you based your argument solely on your feelings, their rebuttals would've look like personal attacks. But they weren't.

 

I know, I guess I just am a little protective of myself from bad past experiences. I do tend to fight back when I feel threatened in anyway.

 

Perhaps a debate forum isn't the best place for you if you're going to get so emotional about this kind of thing.

Hmm........I don't hate gay people...but I just don't approve of gay marriages. I don't know how you could explain it.

On topic, I think that who a person marryies is their choice with whatever sex the person is, just another choice in life.

 

I don't think abolishing gay marriage would increase the spread of AIDs.. and just because they wouldn't be able to get married doesn't mean they can't settle down with one life partner.

Anyway, I'm for gay marriage. Gay weddings are probably more interesting than straight ones~

People should do whatever it makes them happy, since it doesn't break a large rule like kill people, so i approve gay marriages. The government shouldn't forbid this. It's like thinking homosexuals are not people.

I respect gays and lesbiens but I'm not one myself. But I am against gay marriage- the word marriage is for the oposite genders only! But it doesn't make a difference to me.

 

Yeah. I'm wondering if we should call the joint between homosexuals for life should be called something different.
