Kingdom Hearts III What do you think KH III will be on?

I'm having a debate with some other friends about what the new game will be on. I say it would be sweet to have it on the Wii, but they would probably wait until the release of the Wii U for it. Playstation II is almost completely out of the question, since they aren't releasing games for it anymore. Another option is PS3. What do you guys think?

 

I am hoping it's on the PS2.

 

But I don't think Sony releases games for the PS2 anymore, do they?

i'll take a guess and say PS3 but depending on the release date it might be on the PS4 but if it got released next year or the year after i'd say PS3.

 

This is Square trying to get us to go out and buy a new console isn't it?

Not happening. The industry has already moved on to the PS3/360/Wii. There's a possibility that even the current generation will have expired by the time Kingdom Hearts III is released, there's no way it will be on the previous, especially when it's a major title by a large developer.

I would say it depends on the release of Versus XIII and when the Playstation 4 begins development. Think libre might have it though--multi-platform seems to be the way Square is going, what with FFXIII & XIII-2. I think the Wii U might be a bit of a stretch just because that would require major gameplay differences, but yeah.

I want to say that it would come out on PS3, but there's no real way of guaranteeing that. The PS4 won't be going into development for a few years, but how long have we already been waiting for KHIII? In the end it all depends on when versusXIII (or XV as it's now being called) comes out, which is when its development will finally begin.

 

By the rate things are going, I'd say Playstation 5.

Unless Sony doesn't release it for another 2 years (which would be odd) I feel like this is the best bet.

Or it could be on the PS3 and it would be that consoles last BIG game. Kind of like BBS was the psp's last big title.

Assuming Sony will eventually PS2 the PS3 (still release games after the new console has been released) I think KHIII will be one of the last PS3 games, much like how Re:CoM was for the PS2.

 

Most definitely PS3 and maybe Multi Platform and a very, very slim chance of it being on PS4/720. =/

Sony is not going to release another console anytime soon the PSVita just came out. Give it 3-4 years.

It'll be on the PS3 as one of the close-out titles of it's life cycle or a launch title for the PS4. Using the Luminous engine, KH3 will showcase a revolutionary blend of photorealistic human character models and cartoony, highly-detailed models for the anthropomorphic Disney characters. 60 FPS action, more stylish combat options, etc. Either way, I'm buying two copies.

 

I'm almost to the point of agreeing to this 555.

Honestly, I have a feeling that it may be multi-platformed. And on this generation of consoles. I also have a feeling that it may be one of the last titles for this generation of consoles.
