What do you think is too young of an age for sex?

I personally think that having sex under the age of 15 is too young.Mostly because,yes you're still young and have your life ahead of you.But also even a 13 or 14 year old's body isn't quite fully developed to have a baby.This meaning the girls.Our body's isn't at the 'age',you could say,that it's ready to handle having a baby.I haven't had a boyfriend so I'm not sure how it can be when your boyfriend pressures you to have sex.But if I end up having a boyfriend in high school or college or whatever,I already know the consequences to having a child at a young age.I can wait until marriage.When I first entered high school and saw a girl pregnant,I felt disgusted.But now it's whatever.I really don't care anymore.It's like an everyday thing.But I still think that the girls that I see that are pregnant should have thought a moment before they had sex.And I also wonder if the guy left them or stayed with them.I guess having sex at the age of 16 or 17 is fine but you're still young.They should at least wait a little while longer.​

I'd say under 17 or 18. They aren't even adults yet before then.

 

It depends on the maturity of the girl. I've seen 15 years old that could make that kind of decision, and 18 year olds that aren't smart and grown up enough to.

 

There's no age, just whenever your married, of course that doesn't mean if you get married at 15 you should do it.

Meh, I'd say below 15. 15 seems to be the age here when most people lose their virginity.. I find it hard to believe thats people in my year at school and the next year O.O
But... yeah.. I think by 15 most people are physically and emotionally ready. But their shouldnt be a minimum age etc. It should be when you know in your mind you are prepared for it, and are with a loving partner.

As Misty said a while back, I wouldn't say there is a certain exact "age" in which it would be right for one to have sex, however I do think that waiting until you've been with someone for a long time and you're at least out of high school it would be okay. If you've got a steady boyfriend that you trust and you think you're ready to do it, go ahead. Although I do think that while you're still in high school it's a big nono. As others have stated, the consequences are huge, and if you break up with the person, which many couples in high school do, than it was kind of worth nothing. :/

Nah, probably the average age everywhere in the UK.
I don't want to lose my virginity till 16.. and with someone I trust. But if I was caught at 15, I don't think my parents would care. I have three older sisters who all lost it at that age, and my mum knows about it.

I see alot of hating on teenage moms, people saying their ****s and whatnot. my mom got pregnant with me, if my calculations are right, november 1984, had me august 1985, her birthday is january 7th, making 14 years old when she got preg with me, 15 when she actually birthed me. she struggled, dropped out of school, worked 3 jobs every day while my dad got drunk and got other women pregnant...so it kind of upsets me for people to put down teenage girls that get pregnant, because I tell you, no woman, in my opinion deserves more respect and more props. It may have taken her a long time, but she graduated highschool, went to college eventually, and is now the head medical assistant in the clinic she works in, a little 14 year old girl, who everyone said should get an abortion, she fought to give me and all my brothers the best lives possible, she worked herself to the bone, so really, you should rethink that 'all teenage preggored girls are ****s' idea.My mom has had ONE partner her entire life, thats my father. They are together to this day(though thats not necessarily a good thing) and she loves him dearly. if being 38 years old with only one sexual partner makes you a ****....then I would be a regular whore by now... I admire that woman with all my heart and honestly, when I have kids, I hope I could be half as good of a parent as she was to me.

Well said. People shouldn't generalize because every pregnancy has circumstances that need to be considered. When people just immediately jump to the conclusion that "she's a whore", it's very judgemental and slanderous. It annoys me, too.

 

i dont think there is a certain age, just anything above fifteen, though unfortunately i know people who arent virgins anymore under that........pretty much whenever you're mature enough to handle it.

 

To be honest, I think no girl/guy should have to choose an age, but whether she/he is ready or not. If she/he wants to be with the person they'll consent with, then by all means, let them...
