Kingdom Hearts II What do you think is the story behind the X shaped scars on Saix's face ?

I think Saix and XIgbar had a fight on who was the real second in command,so they both received scars.

 

He was practicing with his weapon, it bounced off a wall, and hit his face....twice.

 

i know! he cut himself shaving!

 

Well, Saix is one of those weird, werewolf-ish characters...so maybe he got that scar by attempting to kick himself in the face to relieve the itch from a rather annoying little flea...

I think I'm going to have to go with Xigbar theory...or maybe Xemnas had to fight him (and beat him up, too) just to put him back in his place.

Poor Saix. One member away from not being considered a neophyte and getting the scorn of the higher-ups. No wonder he seemed too big for himself.

 

My theory is that Saïx gained these scars while he was human. One day he was hunting the dinner when a wolf attacked him gaving him these scars and when he became a nobody these scars remained.

About Xigbar, i would say he was a shooter but accidentally he shooted or someone else shooted in his eye.

 

You'd die almost instantly if you were shot in the eye...so I don't know if that was the case. It might have just been that he got cut up somehow and his eye was effected by the cut.

 

Can be, maybe in a robbery.Braig would have reacted trying to a attack the thief, but the thief cut his eye(not like threading the knife in the eye).

 

No, you guys are all wrong. There could be two ways.

Squall found Saix, and decided he should give a scar to him. He slashed him. Then, Saix travelled to Twilight Town, and Seifer found him, then gave a scar to him. XD.

Or... there is the story of Axel's and Saix's hate for each other. Saix ticked off Axel, then Axel attacked him with his chakrams. End of story.

Or... it could be that X mark that Riku makes when he used his Souleater in KH:COM.

 

No. When sora was asleep he was sleep walking and bumed into Saix. he thought he was a heartless and slashed Saix on the face 2 times.:)

 

I believe it was only in the character designing to give him the X scar because all the Organization members had X's in their names.

Or it is to represent his cruel nature.

 

I really like 2Foxxie4U's theory on this. It's told in her story "Initiating the New Kid." But, in a nutshell, here's what it says.

Saix is new in Organization XIII. Xigbar wants to play a prank on the poor guy by making Xemnas drunk, which he completely succeeds at doing. Once drunk, Xemnas grabs an x-shaped brand and pins Saix to the ground, branding his forehead in the process.

But wait, there's more.

Saix knows that Xigbar was behind all of it, so he plots revenge. He goes into berserk and chases Xigbar down the hall (like he chases Sora around), throwing his claymores as he goes. One of the claymores hits Xigbar in the face and viola! Xigbar's scar mystery is revealed as well.

Maybe he fell face first onto his claymore.

I used to go with the tampon gun thing, too. But then I found another notion that made even more sense than that one did.

Frankly, my dear people...

Xemnas got drunk on the night of Saix's initiation, and branded him like a cow. Case closed.

well,you guys beat me to the good(and funny) theories.so here's mine.

Saix got Xaldin and Larxene really mad.(you know how sharp their weapons are!)

I recon he did something incredibly stupid with a sharp object or something when he was a kid who was being mischeivious(sp?)

 

isn't the X on the face the sign of a Duelist back in the old days? like, with the Rapiers and stuff? That's what I've heard.

 

I think it's just because he experimented on himself with moon power and his face got mutilated in the process.
