What do you think is flirtting?

Me and this guy was talking, and it seems like we had different views on what flirtting is. What do you think flirtting is? I thinks around the way of playing around with them, and keep messing with them. Trying to talk to them the most, and all that mushy stuff.

I don't really think it can be defined. It depends on how forward the two people are. To a shy couple even talking to a person would be considered flirting but to more experienced people and those who have loads of opposite sex friends (and are straight) talking wouldn't be considered flirting. So then you have the whole winking, messing around with each other, whispering, all that stereotypical crap.

I think it's whatever you want it to be.

 

I remember when a guy in my grade always used to pick on me and stuff. And it turned out he liked me, amidst all the teasing and name calling he did to me.

Another is just to keep looking at each other and then smiling. That's happened once or twice with me.

And then another a guy does that I've noticed, is he always talks to you. That's pretty obvious though.

I usually flirt by smiling and making chit-chat. Even if it's not that obvious, it's still counted as being flirtatious.

It really depends on the people though. There are many different ways of flirting, so it isn't really explained all that well. It's different for other people.

 

Well, I'm no good at flirting, but what I do is I try to hang around her as much as possible. Looking at her alot, admiring her beauty, but looking away when she looks over at me. But that's just me, and it's never been successful.

As I said, that's just what I do, and I suck at it. That's why the only gf's I've had have been online.

 

Flirting is wanting the benefits of young love while trying to keep it from evolving into something serious. That's how I see it.

 

For me, it's the subtle hinting of things to eachother. That, or being around them a lot simply for the sake of being around them. Fun stuff like that.

That happened to me too.It was in 6th grade and the guy was ugly.And in 8th grade he told me the only reason he picked on me was because he liked me.

Anyway,I guess flirting,for me, is just something that people do to give out hints that you like the person.Very small hints so that it doesn't look as if you're being too forward.​

 

Flirting is different for every single person so there is no right or wrong answer about what it is I guess.


To me flirting is like teasing, you generally do it to let someone know you have an interest in them but you don't want to go all full on crazy about it.

Though some people are just naturally flirty people and generally do not mean anything by it.​

 

When a person comes upto you and walks funny, talks cuter than normal, and talks to you sexualy. That sums it up.

I guess my idea of flirting is smiling, teasing them a little, ALWAYS talking to him/her, being glued to their hip, etc.

 

I know, that's just sick! Everyone knows that after you squeeze their tits and go "honk honk" you have to punch them in the face.
